I love him. That’s it, that’s the message.

Impeccable first half, couldn't make a simple pass in the second. It was like he dumbed himself down to the level of the rest of the team.5

Proper cult hero, goes from the utterly sublime to laughably terrible to sublime again in the same passage of play repeatedly all game.4

He's a character1

The first half showed why we signed him. The second half showed why the non-playing staff think he's still raw. He made Philogene look like a child at times, and at others he was at sea.
But, I think that can be down to match fitness, and the fact that he's up against a Prem-quality side. I'm really excited by him because of what he could do, certainly. Touch wood the trajectory is an upward one.19 -
The risk of buying a player overseas has defo paid off. I just hope we can get some more players like him with his quality. Only played a handful of games but looking like one of our best transfers this season.1

Yep was out of position at times but has an absurd amount of pace that he can afford to be a little bit out of position at times but it needs to be coached out of him if he wants to play at a higher level.PaddyP17 said:The first half showed why we signed him. Was at the game thinking I wish we had 11 Colin Sichenje's2

Steve brown was saying in the comms he just Didnthave the strength due to lack of playing time hence faded1

The raw ingredients are there for him to be a really good player at this level. To go from the Serbian league to facing Jaden Philogene and Jack Clarke is an enormous leap to make in 3 months and having had time out with injury. Of course he's going to make mistakes like any CB at this level will make as they adapt but hopefully we can find more like him in terms of hidden gems.13

I really can’t see why there’s so much love for him . I guess must be the only one0

Aggressive, raw, clumsy and up against Philogene and Clarke, I had a bet on him getting booked tonight as I thought it looked a complete shoe in, and I can’t even get that f***ing right :-(8

Mistake waiting to happen !0

Really solid 1st half, he looked tired in the 2nd needs to get his fitness up. After a solid pre season he is going to be a good player next season in the Championship

Interesting watching Jones (Nathan) tell him to step up out of defence into midfield a lot even when we didnt have the ball and were in the lead. I like it a lot. He was a big part of us being front footed and aggressive with the press in that first 30 mins.4

His additional height compared to Ramsay also gave us another dimension as it allowes Lloyd to take a risk or two and move into midfield at time or stay up a bit more after a set piece knowing there is another aerial presence at the back. Gilly also helps with this.1

Except unfortunately Gilly is a liability at this levelcantersaddick said:His additional height compared to Ramsay also gave us another dimension as it allowes Lloyd to take a risk or two and move into midfield at time or stay up a bit more after a set piece knowing there is another aerial presence at the back. Don't disagree. But his aerial ability is a strength and you could see it helped Jones out today knowing he didn't have to go for every single header allnacross the backline. In thay respect and that respect only there was a benefit. I suspect we have Gilly for the next 2 games as Bell looked to have another hammy.Weegie Addick said:

He may get there before NovemberCAFCBourne said:I remain my usual pessimistic outlook he'll be bang average and liability by November next year0 -
One of the bright spots of the Ipswich game0

I can’t work him out. Overall so far I think he’s looked pretty solid and tries to be positive with the ball. He wasn’t great second half last night but who was?0

He wasn’t great second half last night but who was?My brain is a bit of a haze with regards to the second half, as Fevrier was very ineffective as wellBut did that effect both of them, and our shape, along with Campbell going off?I feel it meant Ipswich could press us easier, meaning that Fevrier didn't have the space to run into himself, so wasn't worrying their Full-Back like he had been in the First Half, and as a result Sichenje then was less effective as he too had less space, and less of an outlet. The Campbell sub was the domino effect... We largely coped replacing Bell with Chambers5

I think he was shattered towards the end and probably a bit concerned about his hammy going again. What I did see was a huge amount of passion, he’s a real leader and that could make a huge difference on SaturdayThe Red Robin said:I can’t work him out. Very impressed with his speed and strength, understandably, a few errors crept in during the second half, more likely
due to fitness after an injury lay off.0 -

If he hadn't been forced to carry while broken against Wrexham, hed be properly match fit by now. He's one of the only positives to come out of this season.2

Got a bit of Richard Rufus about him. I’d be happy with him and Jones as a central pairing in a back 4. Can’t say that with any of the other centre backs.1
-
Not a huge fan so far. Seems to invite cards from the ref the way he plays.

The Sky commentators were very complimentary and thought he did a great job against Philogene.

Yes, in other words NJ cocking it up.ForeverAddickted said:The Red Robin said:I can’t work him out. Overall so far I think he’s looked pretty solid and tries to be positive with the ball.
