There is a reason Luton have had back to back relegations…Kaminksi is a fucking clown and then add Burke to that…Bell has been good part from last couple of weeks…

Frustrating that we have an early kick-off Saturday. Oxford will be right up for it when we inevitably lose to Hull.

Nathan Jones: "Really frustrated. The overall performance was good. We started brilliantly. It was disjointed because of the injuries. It caused us to reshuffle." #cafc

    Post-match on Sky:

Nathan Jones thinks it was an even game.

Doesn't dispute the penalty. Says we’re making too many mistakes and individual errors.

Sounds like TC was an injury.

    Moans about the ref.

Says we were disjointed, especially second half, because of the injuries and couldn’t be as aggressive.

Sounds like the plan is to go at Hull early Saturday, as we did tonight.

Diabolical substitutions, and lack of energy from the bench…

    NJ at fault.

extremely poor. We rely on other teams yet again
So what were the correct Substitutions...
Am seeing this a lot already, but who do you replace TC with, to match his pace and energy at HT?
The lack of energy has to be down to the individual coming on, rather than Jones... The fact that grown adults on here, find a way to excuse Footballers from understanding what they themselves need to do, when they become involved is just ludicrous... Do you think Jones needs to stand outside the loo as well going: "Right you see that white paper... you use that to wipe your arse" seeing they need such help to cope in life?
A complete lack of anyone from the bench to play wide/winger and bomb along was poor.

Not sure if TC was injured, but don’t think he should have been taken off. Equally don’t think kelman for dykes was wise, but hardly a shock anymore.

A sub bench of OAP Berry, a freshly fit Godden, a freshly fit knibbs ,  and then target man dykes has given us only one dimension from the bench.
Would have loved to have had Fullah to bring on
If only we had signed a winger in the summer…
If only my Auntie had balls, she'd be my Uncle
The only wide option you could have had on the bench is Dixon and he's nowhere near ready.

For my sanity, after tonight - I’m not going to come on here until the final whistle Saturday. Have found the last few weeks hugely stressful.

Let’s hope when I log in we are all happy.

Shite, another few days of uncertainty.

now relying on Oxford to slip up.

We should’ve never been in this position.

This just isn’t true? Play like the first half on Saturday and we’ll get a point at least
But this season shows that we can't do it for 90 mins. Jesus, we can't even do it for 60.

    Oh boy.

I’ve had faith all season and the odds are still heavily in our favour. However, we’re running out of steam, ideas, and options at the worst possible time.

We’ve played worse and there was no shortage of effort, but the quality and the goals just aren’t there. Normally I’d say that as long as we can keep working that hard we’ll get at least one more point but who will be fit for Saturday? Looks likely we’ll be without Ramsay, Bell, Campbell and Godden, and maybe Clarke, plus probably Collins won’t be able to start a second game in an week after the effort he put in tonight.

I’d say we’re capable of getting something out of Hull but if we are missing all those players it will be very tough.

Might be relying on Oxford’s results now, but they have Sheffield Wednesday next and I’m sure they’ll make a better fist of that than we did. Very high chance we go into the final weekend needing something at Swansea, who are no pushovers.

Try not to despair, but this fucking team always puts us through it, don’t they?

I’m off for another margarita or six.

Cant really argue with any of it...
Makes sense that we'll go at Hull early on Saturday, its exactly what we've done these last two home games now.

Also, Luke Chambers. On as a sub, and then subbed off himself. Is his fitness really that bad?

Don't think it was fitness related.

How many games this season have we scored more than 1 goal?
    5.

    2 goals 3 times
    3 goals 2 times.

Hugely hilarious in the week seeing fans on Twitter/X saying that Lloyd Jones was robbed of a TOTS place.
Where’s the correlation? He’s statistically been one of the best defenders in the league all season. If we go down that’s not on him.

Is Leaburn injured again? He at least can play wide a bit more and can run about, better than Dykes anyway

Another poor piece of GK sees us fumble away more points to secure our Championship status. Really frustrating we haven’t got the job done yet, but it is still in our hands.

Really hope we can it done on Saturday in front of our fans. The players deserve that applause. Whilst some lack the quality consistently at this level you can never doubt the commitment or endeavour.

Just hope Bell, TC and Godden can go on Saturday.

We don’t have the capability to get out of this mess. We are hoping Oxford slip up. Can’t see us getting another point. League 1 looks closer each match it’s a shocking end to the season. We will only have ourselves to blame 5 losses out of the last 6 at home is criminal. Financial loss will me massive if we go down not sure we will come back if it happens.

I think we can get something out of Hull but these injuries are incredibly unlucky and coming at the worst time.
  • Getting pretty sick now of getting relegated with a whimper. I may be misremembering but it always seems we go down without a fight, from a position where others would comfortably stay up.

Ipswich are a bloody good team and it's no shame losing to them, but we should never have been in a position where we had to get a result from where we were a few weeks ago.

    So, so frustrating.

Realistically the gap between the 2 sides is massive. They should be walking this league given what they have spent on top of what they already had.

Injuries didn't help but change in formation and reverting to ultimate hoofball has cost us and thats on Jones. Decent first half built on a bit more football and hassling. Dykes suddenly playing like a player who doesnt want to get injured.

Does feel like we're relying more on Oxford now that doing it ourselves at the moment as we could have lost 3 players to injury now.

Kaminski might be one of my least favourite players of the last few years and given some or the dross we've had that's saying something.

Are we still saying keep the faith? Still confident but it’s never easy is it - don’t like the thought of potentially relying on a Millwall result on the final day.

    The Kenyan is appalling BTW

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
    Seriously!?! Ok pal 😂😂
Pal, 'the kenyan' certainly isnt appalling.
