It's not the last one yet, but I really appreciate the support on here, I know I am not everyone's cup of tea, but that's life, and I'd like to think my videos are enjoyable and I make a good account of our fanbase.
Appreciate everyone who engages with the videos and hop on, thank you, as the vlogs would just be a bit rubbish without the community input.
I may come across negative with my views, but I am just desperate for Charlton to do well.
Anyway, hope it's an enjoyable watch, and see everyone at Swansea

Give them time! Editing the video and audio is much more hard work than putting out an audio clip recorded from the dodgy tannoy where you can also hear other peoples conversations. Think the media team deserve a Saturday night and Sunday evening offeastterrace6168 said:

Surprised nobody's mentioned the best comedy moment of the day. Hull pushing forward, we clear it long with 1 player sprinting through to latch on to it and a straightforward 1 on 1 with the keeper... sadly, our man was Coady.
Watching him sprint knowing he was never getting to it first was hilarious, quite literally the last player we wanted there. Pretty sure you hear Carey say something to him on the clubs footage upload on the pitch at FT about 'that race'

Yep, and that's the big problem with him, even when he has a good game he has the potential to do something that can cause a goal. It was silly of him to go down like that despite being fouled but I don't have the energy to focus on that too much given that that whole situation was caused by Clarke doing something insane and we didn't track their player to the back post despite the fact a corner to the man at the back post is our favourite corner strategy. If Kaminski has stayed on his feet it would have hit him but there were plenty of errors before that that took us to that point. Outside of that though Hull tried to hang the ball up over Kaminski and in pretty much any other game this season you'd expect him to punch and potentially put us under pressure on the second ball with McBurnie lurking but he held on. I was especially impressed given that Mannion lost his place off the back of a misjudged catch and you'd expect Kaminski to be even more unlikely to try to catch as a result. Not a perfect performance but he took care of Hull's main attacking strategy and stopped us looking like we'd concede anything outside of that one goal and that's a good thingCovered End said:
Apart from when he chose to throw himself to the ground in order to con the referee, leaving a wide open goal and gifting Hull an equaliser.Garrymanilow said:A good day for the maligned as well. I know it's hard to look away from Fevrier during his goal but clock Burke reading the play from centre back and absolutely haring it outside him to offer him an overlap option. Takes the covering midfielder away from Fevrier and stops him getting his pocket picked when he slows up to take on his man in front of him. We heard so much from Luton fans about how Burke is a Premier League level defender who just can't stay fit but recent performances for us haven't reflected that. Yesterday we saw a quicker, stronger and more confident version of Burke and he had a great game. He can't help his fitness issues but if we get this Reece Burke every time he's available we'll benefit massively26

The problem is that we get this Reece Burke about once every few months. He's either out with his latest injury or getting back up to speed from said injury and looking well off the pace.Garrymanilow said:I know it's hard to look away from Fevrier during his goal but clock Burke reading the play from centre back and absolutely haring it outside him to offer him an overlap option. He can't help his fitness issues I agree but they are an issue. If he was involved in the coaching side, in the style of Danny "Dark arts" Haynes then he'd probably offer more value but as it stands his just not good enough often enough to take a chance on.3 -
He was very good early season too, think he was just very rusty away at Sheffield Wednesday but then was fine on Saturday so just needed a game to get back into itGarrymanilow said:I know it's hard to look away from Fevrier during his goal but clock Burke reading the play from centre back and absolutely haring it outside him to offer him an overlap option. Am I right in remembering he didn't really get a preseason? Joined, played at Dartford and then disappeared with injury? Maybe a better preseason might help with the fitness issues, should be doable now our team know his body0

Unfortunately, that's the point.fenaddick said:Am I right in remembering he didn't really get a preseason? Joined, played at Dartford and then disappeared with injury? Maybe a better preseason might help with the fitness issues, should be doable now our team know his body
Dartford, first pre-season game, against non-league opposition. He only came on at half-time! And got injured... and not like Leaburn at Welling. No-one laid a glove on him. Forty five minutes, and he's crocked. The writing was on the wall, right there...0 -
Sure but I guess my point is would our S&C team suggest he plays 45 mins straight away in the first pre season game of the season now? Or would they suggest upping his minutes slower? It's unlikely but there might be a way to minimise the issues somewhatSteveACS said:

I didn't notice it during the game but my son showed me on his phone, Nathan Jones running down the wing when Fevrier was breaking trying to make it 3-1. Say what you like about him, he has real passion.4

He had a bit of a pig against Millwall as well which I don't think helped his cause with fansNabySarr said:

Whichever, its six points we wont get next season, plus the usual six dropped against Millwall - not much to look forward to!valleynick66 said:Now we can really enjoy the fate of West Ham or Tottenham and the roller coaster ride they now have for a few weeks.

It seems photographic evidence isn't enough in some instances, Kaminski was pulled sideways by the cheating sod McBurnie, who let go suddenly leaving Kaminski to overbalance and fall sideways, why do we keep disputing this...🤷♂️11
-
Becuase it was not enough of a foul and some feel Kiminski madee a meal of it and should have stayed on his feet (including me). The overall blame for that goal sits with Clarke for giving away a needless corner in the first place though.eastterrace6168 said:It seems photographic evidence isn't enough in some instances, Kaminski was pulled sideways by the cheating sod McBurnie, who let go suddenly leaving Kaminski to overbalance and fall sideways, why do we keep disputing this...🤷♂️4 -

I rewatched the highlights of the Leicester game earlier today and I was reminded of Clarke getting his goal chalked off because the Leicester keeper ran into his own player and went down. Kaminski should have stayed on his feet but the inconsistency with the reffing in these situations is ridiculous7
