i would give brooks a game. Doesn’t matter if he is awful but what if he is good?
mitchell in the coady role. He hasn’t progressed due to shitty loans, give him a game and see how he does.2 -
I think we'll finally hit 9 goals.
0-9
Another rollercaster of a season fellow Addicks! Bon chance.5 -
No thanks. I’d quite like to actually try and win the match!Todds_right_hook said:Brooks

In the home game I swear I saw him joining in with "Land of my Fathers" when the Swans fans were in full voice!cafc_se7 said:NJ will be desperate to get one over on his neighbours.0 -
Try and win the game2

An end of season jolly for both teams, so expect a 1-1 draw.1

Why do I deserve a clump, Soapy?!soapy_jones said:I think we'll finally hit 9 goals.

I hope Kelman starts . Maybe give lloydy a rest and bring in Gough . I would like us to get a result but who cares now . I'm saying a 3-1 defeat.5
-
Imagine the outcry if NJ set us up in an attacking formation and we played "Barcelona football" and ran out 5-0 winners.
I expect us to set up in the usual cautious manner as we have been all season.0 -
After seeing Nathan's comments cant see us trying anything new, with injuries probably dictating our starting line up more than trying anything new ir progressive.2

Nathan Jones supports Cardiff City?! WTAF?! He's never mentioned that before!2

We are on the beach people, enjoy the stress free day out. Up The Addicks4

Great to be able to approach this game, not caring at all about the result. I'm looking forward to my trip to Wales a lot more than this time last week, when I was dreading us still needing a point there to stay up!
The one person who WILL care though is Nathan Jones, so while the away end will be more interested in the scores elsewhere, he'll be desperate to win this game. Thus I expect a "proper" team out there. While I really enjoyed the formation last week, Swansea being a footballing team he might want something to counter that.5 -
I think we could see a few changes with a some players getting a well deserved rest.
Lloyd Jones is certainly one of those. He looks like he’s been playing through injury for months. I don’t expect TC and Doc to feature either.Would love to see Ibby Fullah and Gough get a run out.2 -
If Lloyd plays he's played in every game in the league I believe. He deserves an appearance and the applause If NJ goes that way.11

Thanks as always ForeverA. A must read for me and your knowledge and insights much appreciated. Don’t even think of quitting. Supporting Charlton is a life sentence.2

Hopefully a good final day performance if for nothing else but for NJ to enjoy in Wales, but mainly for the away support, managed to do a few with my boy this season and we have loved the vibe each time, they really do deserve a good day out. A couple of weeks ago couldn’t wait for the season to finish as it was going a bit tits up, now I’m a bit sad but really excited to see who we sign/ offload, thank fuck there is a World Cup on, but now can’t wait to next season!!😂1

If this is a whoosh then fair play but I sat in the West Lower at Swanseas end for that game and they didn’t stop giving him stick the whole game, they absolutely hate him. It’s a good job we got over the line last weekend because Swansea would have wanted to send us (him) down even more so than Millwall.CharltonManor1966 said:

I don't care how we do it, just get it done.

How about winning 2-1 after being 1-0 down?1

I know it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things, but I actually do really want to win this one. Think it would set a positive tone for the summer to wrap the season up with back to back wins. 56 points and (probably) nine points clear of relegation would be great. No reserve team or starting youth players for the sake of it please. Let’s pick the best team available and end the season on a high.9
-
Like to see young players given a go .. we don’t need to see Campbell so let’s have Dixon , also Z Mitchell and Gough and one of two others on the bench … result don’t matter but I guess NJ connections with Cardiff may mean he wants to get one over on them .. 1-1 draw to end the season3
-
0-2 win , go full strength and finish on a high. If we're comfortable then maybe half an hour of Fullah. But please no starting some hodgepodge League Cup first round esque side with Brooks in goal , Gough and Zach Mitchell in a back 3 , Mwamba for Cov , Fullah starting etc3
-
It can't harm our appeal to prospective new signings to finish as high up the table as possible. Don't risk anybody carrying an injury but otherwise go full strength. We end on a high, 2-1 Charlton.2

Did we ever win any ‘must win games ‘ 🤔 0-2 COYR1

Want to see a performance definitely. Still find it hard to forgive curbishley for that limp end of season run in after winning the championship with a lame 1-1 at Blackburn then a roll over to help west Brom stay up last game. Less at stake here obviously but as professionals they as a collective should still give of their best and be capable of giving Swansea a game.0

Getting the 13:48 from Paddington today. Looking forward to a stress-free weekend on the 🍻3

It'd be great to finish the season above 21st, even if it's just for the history books.I'd imagine Ramsay, Bell, Sichenje, Doc, and Godden are all out, but we have decent cover in these areas for players who may be able to showcase themselves (from youth to experienced returning to full fitness).2
