This has now happenedAddick Addict said:According to one news source from another Kent forum, we are signing James Taylor on loan. Not the former England batter or the singer/songwriter of the same name but the Surrey seamer and younger brother of Tom who this week took six wickets against us this week for Worcestershire. Overall stats aren't great but he did return figures of 20-2-79-2 against Warwickshire this season. Beggars can't be choosers!1 -
Taylor has been added to the squad for Gloucestershire and presumably will play in place of Milnes as only on loan for two matches1

Straight choice between Parkinson and Cohen for the last place . Not a good attack really .FremlinsFellow said:Taylor has been added to the squad for Gloucestershire and presumably will play in place of Milnes as only on loan for two matches0 -
They might choose to play both and leave Jas out given he's played more games than the rest of the bowlers bar Dudgeon.wmcf123 said:

Probably unlikely because they only have 13 players in Bristol and with subs now being used like confetti, Kent aren't going to be sending him back.Pedro45 said:Does that mean Jas can play for Bexley tomorrow?1 -
96-1 (28) at lunch. To be fair, all the bowlers performed fairly consistently without having too much luck.2

Taylor getting his deserved 2nd wicket to break that partnership3

144-1 to 172-4
Further wickets to Dudgeon and Evison3 -
Two wickets already. The management will be asking, "You got a friend?"Karim_myBagheri said:Taylor getting his deserved 2nd wicket to break that partnership3 -

A third wicket for Taylor and a second for Dudgeon3 -
318-9 5 wickets for Taylor4
-
Bang, bang!!! Two wickets for Taylor to give him figures of 5-52
325-92 -
And Taylor takes a sixth wicket to return 23.1-9-52-6. Rarely can a loan signing made such an initial impact for us.
325 all out
The bad news is that we have to bat tonight!4 -
2 overs I thinkAddick Addict said:And Taylor takes a sixth wicket to return 23.1-9-52-6. Rarely can a loan signing made such an initial impact for us.

Confirmed. There is nothing worse for an opener to have to face half a dozen or so balls before the end of play.LenGlover said:

Given Gloucs were 144-1 I think we would all have taken 325 but, there again, we know how fragile our batting can be.1
