Chelsea are well organised and have worked hard,  but it's crazy for a club to spend so much money, yet look so ordinary.

The match is on in the background here, seems every time I look up a Chelsea player is diving in the box. Why not try staying upright and scoring ?

What’s interesting right now watching this is how few English players look in any decent form, Foden, Palmer. Then add Saka, I think we might struggle in the WC.  Pretty average game really, nice finish to win it though.

Fewest shots in an FA cup final for 20 odd years.

I enjoyed Erling's meltdown late on after not being played in.

Tbf foden got 2 assists and got man of the match in their last game

Didn't watch this but from the few comments on here sounded pretty dire, no real surprise there...

One classy move and terrific finish win it for Citteeh .. Chelsea have spent a fortune on players, every position except striker, and it shows

It makes me laugh when people say how it means less to them because there’s so much live football on TV, as if it’s something they are being subjected to. There’s only more on your TV because you pay for it and line the players ’ pockets yourselves🤷‍♂️
I refuse to pay for it so the only live football I see is the FA Cup. I feel just the same about the FA Cup on this, my 50th consecutive viewing, as I’ve always done.
Additionally, I thought it was a decent match. Not great but not boring as some here have said. What is boring is the Scottish Premier League. It should be marketed with a slogan like ’just when you thought something exciting might happen’

The problem is the messing around with the final, it shouldn't kick off at 5pm, it shouldn't be before the end of the domestic league.  Today it kicked off at the correct time but with the top flight yet to finish it losses some of its lustre and prestige.

I'm not surprised you feel the same about the FA Cup and thought it decent if the FA Cup is the only live football you see.

I've probably watched about 300 live games this season and that game wouldn't rank in my top 200.

100%, for me the cup final should always be the last game of the domestic season. I simply don't get the logic of playing it on the weekend of week 37 of the PL season.

I only realise it was a 3pm kick off when my BBC news app bleeped that Man City had won it.  Didn't see it.

Only thing I have seen is a tweet showing Enzo's tackle.  If that was Romero...

I’m living on a different planet (I’m a very bitter fan) where someone would hold Chelsea , Scott Parker , burning the Valley club , battle of the bridge  etc etc on the same level as Man City .
I mean one of the best things about footy is the hatred of other clubs and Chelsea are right up there

Used to loathe Chelsea much more vigorously, but just become so apathetic to those tedious/Super league clubs I can’t even really give a shit anymore - their personalities and souls have been so eroded by 200 man squads America tours and twice weekly discussions on who the next manager should be on talkSPORT.

Rather than hate them I almost feel sorry for them now as I think how shite it must be supporting a club like that (though i accept they probably don’t pine for what we have been served up last season or the last decade)

definitely still next in the discussion after scum, palace spurs and scousers though all of whom I manage to maintain passionate ire for

a Leeds Vs saints final would have been a much more enticing neutral spectacle

Agree ,fell asleep ,city making a lot of fuss but deep down the 2 cups they have won are consolation prizes for not winning the champions league, and quite likely not winning the premier league 2 years on the spin.
