    The Hawthorns.

     A new biggest gap for me. 36 years 28 days / 13,177 days.

    Last time here we were beaten by a puddle deflection. Hoping for better luck this time around…
    The third time I've broken my "longest gap" record this season.

    I went to the 5-5 game which, as you say, was amazing. About two months later I went the FA Cup game at Eastville which was arguably the worst game I have seen. A one-nil defeat.

    Weirdly not been to Upton Park or the London Stadium (for football) since 1992. Though have been to a presentation held at Upton Park, in one of the lounges in that short lived new main stand.

    Of current grounds, Stamford Bridge (1995) and Selhurst (1996) will be my longest.

    Ah yeh, actually '74. Knew it was the 74/75 promotion season.
    I remember Hales got one of the goals.
    Bizarrely I had forgotten the score of this years game until you reminded me!
