I know it's a T20 match (I aren't that stoopid!), just giving an exaggerated indication of how well we're going to chase this down and put the Brownshorts back in their boxKarim_myBagheri said:
hope you haven't bought tickets for tomorrow or tuesday as this is a T20 game..Briston_Addick said:
Make sure it's a Slurrey sofa and then spill your soup all over it when we coast to an 8-wicket victory with two days to spare.Fanny Fanackapan said:Masterclass !!!!
Let's hope our batters are sensible & their bowlers are terrible
What do you think about their attack, AA ? Do I need to slurp my soup behind the sofa ?
😉1 -
Crawley skies one for 2 (5). 29/22
-
Really don't want to sound like I'm criticising Crawley but his body language, in my eyes, just looks like he is totally disinterested in cricket in general.1

It's staggering that, despite the success of our spinners, Surrey have gone pace on for the first 8 overs. Majid now on
55-2 (8)2 -

I know it's nice we let these small time teams in this tournament but when it throws up such one sided matches you do have to feel maybe the likes of Surrey shouldn't really be included, cant do their fragile egos much good being battered by such a superior side.11

Massive win and let's face it, who would have swapped losing to Essex for beating Surrey? Every side in T20 is prone to have the odd off day and the fact that Northants are the only unbeaten county proves the point.
The difference this year for us is that we can bring in some serious players if and when we have injuries or players out of form. One suspects that when Muyeye comes back, Finch will retain his place but move down the order in place of Benjamin.5 -
Come on Kent rub those privileged Surrey boys nose's into the grass!
PS. I only come on here when we're winning, so not often.5 -
Lost just one of our last seven matches now in all competitions.Addictedoldgit said:Come on Kent rub those privileged Surrey boys nose's into the grass!

Really pleased for Finch. Treated harshly, even though Benjamin has more than merited his selection .1

I know, it's mad... what would you say is the reason our form has changed so much this year?.. never thought we would be challenging this much even if it has only been 7 matches but its a very promising startAddick Addict said:

On another subject, Jordan Cox has been with RCB for the last ten weeks and now has an IPL winners medal. He hasn't played a single game and been used as a sub fielder for the duration. Expect Essex are thrilled for him.1

Very satisfying for Billings, especially after he was dumped by MI London this season, after being a really successful captain for the Oval lot1

I said last year that 2025 was going to be a transitional season. We had a serious injury list and were having to throw four or five teenagers into the fray when they really weren't ready. We can now cope with a few being out now because we have a couple of those youngsters banging the door down and we've also added some inspired signings with the likes of Northeast, Milnes, Stuurman, Dudgeon (re-signed), Taylor, Lintott and Forrester. Competition simply does not allow players to become complacent and that is what we have right now.Karim_myBagheri said:
