Can anyone local let me know what is now in the building that was the ‘Three Tuns’ in Blackheath? (Hoping it’s still a pub). I haven’t been to Blackheath for sometime.
It was one of my Grandad’s locals, had my first pint in their as a kid (I won’t say how old) and I’d like to visit some of them during this season as myself and my Son will try somewhere new every game.0 -
It is now the O’Neills0

Thank you, although that’s disappointing.
My Grandad used to bottle up in that pub.

It’s been O’Neills for a long long time, more than 25 years.2

That would be right, he moved from Coldbath Lane to Kinveachy Gardens, this was when I was a kid, I’m in my fifties nowCovered End said:It’s been O’Neills for a long long time, more than 25 years.
His ashes have been in the Memorial Garden at The Valley since 2005.
I’ve worked out all the other pubs he visited with his mates now, so I’ll visit them all this coming season.
I left South East London a very long time ago, so I wouldn’t know what pubs have closed/switched unless I physically visited.
Thanks all.3 -

Kate Bush and her social circle were regulars in The 3 Tuns back in the day.TelMc32 said:

Used to love The Pots and Pans, it was very atmospheric, when those went it wasn’t the same.Radostanradical said:The Albert in Bexleyheath just gave notice
I saw Shepherd Neame were just looking for a new landlord, so hope it continues as a pub.
