Can anyone local let me know what is now in the building that was the ‘Three Tuns’ in Blackheath? (Hoping it’s still a pub). I haven’t been to Blackheath for sometime.
It was one of my Grandad’s locals, had my first pint in their as a kid (I won’t say how old) and I’d like to visit some of them during this season as myself and my Son will try somewhere new every game.0 -

His ashes have been in the Memorial Garden at The Valley since 2005.
I’ve worked out all the other pubs he visited with his mates now, so I’ll visit them all this coming season.
I left South East London a very long time ago, so I wouldn’t know what pubs have closed/switched unless I physically visited.

Good that they’ve rejected this one.clive said:Hadn’t realised though that the council had given themselves permission to now demolish The Bull Tavern. They kicked the owners out over two years ago with a CPO to make it the “concierge office” for all the new apartments they were putting up behind the new leisure centre. Easier to grant permission when you’ve got a vested interest I suppose 🤷🏻♂️2 -

I got a punch to the back of my head in there! I remember the date as it was 96 and the Brentford cup game got called off so we all went to the pub.. all day! I think that’s right?I was coming out the loo and some bloke who was completely cross eyed walloped me.. he thought I was a bloke and screwing him out apparently.

I've never been in there as its always crowded out with no where to sit. And to be honest I've always found these real ale places a bit hit and miss. Unless you know the beer it's a game of chance whether its a good one, one you like or one you nurse to the bottom.TelMc32 said:
