Someone on our team must have sent an attachment and not a SharePoint link to my boss this week as 15 of us just got a group email to reminds us not to do that. I’ve been on leave all week, I’m off the suspects list.
Surely the culprit is easily identified by the recipients of the offending email having a look at the 'From' field. Or have I missed something?
Oh my boss knows full well who sent it to them. They just don’t have the balls to call one person out. So we all have to be reminded or told off like little children.

This happens to Mrs Idle quite often, normally on the work Whatsup group, usually for something that happened on her day off. It annoys me more than her, I think, but she's a much nicer person.

I got one of these emails at an old job, my boss finished it with the line 'consider this a warning'. HR were copied in on my reply querying why  I was being given a written warning without even a discussion beforehand, especially as it was for something someone else had done. Never did receive another email like that. I have no idea why my wife says she'd hate to have to manage me

When a team scores a goal and you see fans struggling to unlock their phones, select camera, click record, and only then start celebrating while they're recording themselves.
Watford at home first game of the season. Harvey Knibbs slots the winner after another well rehearsed corner routine. Unbridled joy, great to be in the covered end for moments like that, absolutely why I love football, explosion of happiness no drug can replicate. Hugging pals, going mental. Clock a bloke who I'm guessing is around my age, doing exactly that and it blew my head off how someone could be not living totally in that moment for the moment. Actually made me question the point of human existence
    Bit harsh on @Braziliance.
Doesn't apply to me, everyone knows I am not actually a Charlton fan.

It's weird to me in that presumably the idea is basically to get that little social media dopamine hit when someone likes the photo/video.

But just celebrating the goal and moment properly is a bigger dopamine hit in the first place?
It's actually a lot more sinister than people realise. They're all narcissists and think they're the main character.

That's how I feel doing it anyway.

That should be in its own thread of "things that utterly fucking disgust you"

I agree, truly rancid habit and I say that as a professional nose miner, always in secret though, if for no other reason than to have access to bog roll and a sink. A bit like wanking I suppose

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THERE"

Errrr, nothing, just digging my nose out

Going to pick something up from the floor and missing it, then going for a second grab and missing again. Sometimes I go for a quick third grab to make up the lost time and miss that as well.

So now I've learned to just take my time on the second attempt cause I nearly smashed my flat up once over it, which felt reasonable.

Stil very much annoyed by the lack of a clock on footy highlights. Just sat watching the Brazil V Morocco ones, I’ve got a feeling it’s nearly the end but the clock not being there takes away somewhat from the tension.

Weird thing is BT/TNT always have one on theirs, Sky and ITV occasionally do and BBC seemingly never.

Womens football - different game - stick to that and keep off the mens game.

I would have been disappointed too and I have never even played the game at professional level.

Maybe I shouldn’t have an opinion.

The fact that none of you have liked this suggests to me that you’re all nose miners as @Carter would say, in public;)

BBC news, if something important happens, I understand covering the item but you might as well not bother with the news for the rest of the day as they cover it with the same information over and over again for the rest of the day

Companies that, even when they're trying, don't think about what's important to their customers or how their messaging will be read. Two examples from LeShuttle last week:

On the morning that I was heading out to France, I received a text message from them. Before I'd opened it, all I could read was "Due to a technical issue, the fuel...". As I saw that, my mind was racing: What technical issue? What fuel? Does this mean my train is cancelled? Has our holiday been ruined before it's even started?  I opened the message and read on "...station on our French terminal is currently closed. We apologise for any convenience this may cause". It's nice of them to warn me and I suppose some of their customers might actually care, but please get the subject out there in the first few words so I don't have to worry about things I don't care about.

Then on my way home I got a message titled 'Your Return Journey'. I scanned this for the most salient information, "Time of travel: Departing 12:24, Check in closes: 11:24". No!!!! That can't be right. I've not got nearly enough time to get to the terminal.  Then, a big sigh of relief, that was the outgoing train, the one I was on last week! The return train is listed further down the page. It doesn't go until the evening, I've got bags of time. Why are they emailing me the details of a train I got the previous week?

P&O dumbing down their dress codes, scrapping afternoon tea (on Arvia at least) and the fact that cruising with them is now like being at Butlins On Sea (no disrespect intended to those that enjoy a Butlins break).

Yeah, in the process of booking a Silversea cruise Nice to Nice end of May 2027.
Surely we won't be playing at Wembley?
