It’s an obvious opportunity to grow revenue by selling more tickets.Cafc451 said:

Pricing policy that leaves an average 7k seats emptyCafc451 said:

More space to make more revenue whilst already averaging crowds currently that put us broadly mid Championship. Nice position to be in.1

I would suggest good reasons why attendances are lower at some matches are due to Sky, kick-off times and long mid-week journeys. That is why comparisons are not really important to me except for income generated, and still there are moans over pricing.2

another good reason is the perception of the customer of value for moneyBobK said:I would suggest good reasons why attendances are lower at some matches are due to Sky, kick-off times and long mid-week journeys. So if your pricing is achieving a range of attendances between 14k and 23k (the top end still leaving 4k seats empty) with 11 league games below 20k then that suggests ticket pricing isn’t doing its job.BobK said:I would suggest good reasons why attendances are lower at some matches are due to Sky, kick-off times and long mid-week journeys. A good place to start is this: It’s not even as if it’s not bleeding obvious where the bulk of those empty seats are going to be for those games when we do get more than 20k. Like the Lower North, the Lower West is a stand that’s front and centre on TV. If we price it to fill it, rather than leaving it half empty every match, it will draw others in.2
