I'm obviously no expert but i don't see how they'll be found guilty of the more serious charges which essentially then brings into question how professional world leading auditors signed off their finances.1 -
It is going to be very interesting to see what happens with City in a post Pep era. Their owners have effectively bought their way to the top and appointed a legendary manager, in doing so have achieved basically all there is to achieve in the sport.... a fairy tale (as they would call it)So what next, you lose the players of that generation, you lose the manager and the aura; the fairy tale is over and when you're at the top of the mountain the only way is down.0

No doubt a good young player, but he’s done absolutely nothing in his career to be worth 85m. Hopefully he’ll make it 3 relegations in a row.3

Yeah the swiss CM from Freiberg is the Tielemans replacement in effect. Still very heavy rumours that Rogers is going to Arsenal after the WC so they'll need to replace him too.JohnBoyUK said:

They got him on a free transfer, so at a guess he agreed to sign for Villa only if the release clause was agreed. And Villa probably thought get a decent player and even if we lose him in a year or two, it's a £35m profit.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

I get that, i'm just surprised the contract (and clause) wasn't renegotiated since. It's not like Villa have been underperforming so he'd probably have been ok to sign a new one with a higher release fee.North Lower Neil said:

Vuskovic off to Brighton & HA for circa £50m with a sell on clause giving Spurs 20% of any future sell on.
So if he goes for £100m in 2 years time, we've made £70m for selling him without him kicking a competitive ball for us. Bonkers really.
Not sure how I feel about it tbh.
He has got so much bloody potential yet he's not yet PL proven and playing CB in the Bundesliga doesn't necessarily mean he'll adapt and be a success in the PL. His lack of pace will certainly be tested at Brighton where they don't exactly sit back! Guess we just have to wait and see.0 -

Sounds like it. From what I've been told, there's a good few clubs sniffing around him, including Forest & Liverpool. He wants first team football, I think everyone understands that. He's been at the club 2 seasons now and he wants to kick on. Spurs are saying they want him to stay as he'll get game time but realistically, if RDZ plays either a 4-2-3-1 or even 3 CBs with a 3-5-2, you wonder where he'll fit in.MarcusH26 said:

I don't see him as a 6 and I don't see him as a 10. I think he's more of an 8.
Tonali & Fernandes will be 2 of 3 you would imagine.
Then think about who else is there competing for a midfield place. Gray, Bentancur, Maddison, Xavi Simons, Gallagher, Sarr...and lets not forget Kulusevski who still isn't ready for a return just yet...
You need to take into account 'club trained' status too. At the moment, as he's U21, he doesn't take up a place on the PL 25 man squad limit. At the end of this season, he'll be considered 'club trained' too, which helps us no end when we get back into Europe (whenever that is!)
I think Spurs want to keep him. But money will talk.
I was told yesterday Spurs would be willing to involve him in a deal for Gibbs-White.
Of all those midfielders listed above, can see Sarr being first out the door.
