Maybe, just maybe, we shouldn't take in the commentary angle and realise the French are going for an Olivier award for [bad] acting.
Morocco will beat them with a good referee.
Or maybe, just maybe, we can use our eyes and see the Paraguayans were dirty c***s
Indeed, and also the French were play acting c@~ts.

Tap on shin pad? Roll over 3 times screaming. So many examples the 'pundits' ignore for the, 'I predicted the French to win the World Cup' kudos

Paraguay totally anti football. The ref was unbelievably bad. The French were brilliant to keep their cool.

I reckon some Paraguayan drug cartel have the refs famo kidnapped somewhere.
    Only explanation for that nonsense.
I hate them for making me want France to win ffs.

Paraguay were the same v Turkey and also bad enough v Germany that for the first time in my life I wanted the Germans to win.

An absolute disgrace and I can’t fathom how FIFA have spent so many years trying to make football fairer and then all the officials ignored everything that Paraguay did.
    Shameful.

From the off Paraguay knew they could not beat France playing football so they went down the road of cheating and fouling.
I dread to think what the league football is like out there.

Blimey, Michael Oliver is on one today.
Any chance he can send one of for each side please?

Worse referee performance ive seen. Blowing up, getting conned, giving yellows

theres been some good refereeing in this tournament with refs letting things go and not getting conned.
Seems like our standard of reffing is worse than some smaller footballing nations.
And then the ref for France Paraguay said "hold my beer".  I'm another one who went into the game wanting Paraguay to do well, and by the end their keeper was the only one I had the slightest bit of respect for, and how the ref let them get away with it goodness only knows.

Unfortunately even though he's the Canadian coach, he's still an American, and therefore obliged to spout absolute nonsense about how fantastic his team are despite vast evidence to the contrary

I’ll at least give him some credit for calling it football, not soccer.

He's doing a thing not seen too often these days and using the press to talk to his players right? He's publicly backing them in the hope it helps motivate them for their next set of games

I thought the French were excellent in the way they dealt with the nasty Paraguayan team. They treated the South American team with the contempt they deserved and Gill the keeper stopped it being 2 or 3 nil.
I loved the way Mbappe just kept laughing at the defenders especially Galarza who committed so many fouls yet still didn't get a yellow card.

The French have so many skilful players in their squad that even in a match when they didn't hit top gear or finish with aplomb they had a comfortable win and Mbappe lived to tell the tale.
Pele was kicked out the 66 WC with a weak ref in charge.

France v Morocco should be a cracker.

You seem to be totally out of kilter and have you not noticed how our English players do exactly the same when trying to win a foul, including Harry Kane !
Your hatred of the French is affecting your views.
It's a game of opinions and bias entrenched views which can affect all of us.

I can hear Trump now during the trophy presentation, while collecting his golden dildo from Infantino  about the USA team (regardless how they do) "we have the greatest team the world has ever seen..."

Is this the most biased ruling since the hand of god?

Turning Balogun's red into a suspended sentence (?) of a year is completely outrageous.

Turns out it's the worst ruling since they did exactly the same thing for Ronaldo coming into the tournament. Fifa is a joke.

So you can suspend a red card if it suits their agenda?

Absolutely mad if that’s the way it is.

Even if they win tomorrow, I’m glad they don’t have any excuses for going out when they do now.

I was already anticipating the chorus of “we would’ve won it if Balogun played against Belgium”
