Got his leg in front, yes.  Then got bundled over so it's a foul.

And I still think Kane was fouled for their goal, by the way.

VAR is either shit or corrupt.

We cannot buy a decision recently.

The Anderson one was clear cut

Never a pen, Spence looking for it like me looking for my house keys when my wife has "tidied up"
It’s called drawing the foul and is totally legitimate.

The way Spence threw his leg out to his right, looked for contact then snapped his legs back together as he threw himself forward? You'd all be spitting blood if someone like Neymar or Ronaldo done that in a game against us, honestly

Why would anything be corrupt against England?

I thought it was fixed so the bigger teams stay in the tournament?

if that’s the case then surely the corruption is in our favour?

Honestly, if that Spence one was the other way around I’d have no complaints.

That’s a pen, all day long. He’s got in front of his man with the standing leg and taken down.

    It’s corrupt boys and girls.

These two posts in a row kind of show up the “corruption” theory for me. When you even have England fans thinking it’s not a penalty it’s quite hard to argue the decision was corrupt

Because to say this is corrupt is conspiracy theory territory.

All tournament - how clever, he got his body in the way and knows he'll be caught, what a smart player he is etc.

This game - he got his body in the way so no foul.

There’s maybe a clue in Infantino sitting next to the Norwegian prince. Like he also sat among all the Mexican dignitaries.

Initiating contact is not legitimate though

Why are the pundits so scared of disagreeing with refereeing decisions?  All tournament, not just England games.

I'd be spitting blood at our defender being stupid enough to throw his leg in.

Don't really like this habit of trying to manufacture penalties when you could just shoot at the goal instead. Happens too much with this England team.
You really do have some weird takes. He’s trying to get across the defender to open up the angle to shoot and is tripped. He didn’t get a chance to shoot because he was tripped.

I’d love to see Saka once, just take a player on and get wider and use his right foot.

Maybe they actually think Spence made a meal of it?

No doubt you’d have been praising it, if it was an Arsenal player

Spence gets infront of their man but he still makes a move.

Just because Spence knows the contact is coming doesn’t make it not a foul in my view.

Oh look all the pundits, apart from Lee fucking Dixon, agree it wasn't a penalty....

Shock horror, the bias is unbelievable on here sometimes it's hilarious

Appreciate your opinion mate, we are all entitled to them. There have been some mad decisions this World Cup, I’m delighted we don’t have VAR in the champ.

Hard for him to sit with British politicians/royals - none have gone!
