I dont think the football team represents what Argentine is like,I have been there,lovely people,very passionate about their football,and quite happy to have sensible discussions about The Falklands.I have an excellent book on the history of Argentine football,it was corrupt and crooked almost from day 1,games abandoned due to violence,match fixing,referees locked in the dressing rooms for their safety,it wont change,even now the tensions in their local derbies make our games with Millwall look like vicars tea parties.

Been meaning to give it a go.

It's very good although about 150 pages too long (like a lot of these books, the author can't let any of his research go to waste so sticks it all in)
