Where do we expect Fury v AJ to take place?

Seen rumours that if it's in the UK then Turki is pushing for it to start in the early hours of the morning at Wembley, for which he'd need to get special approval from the local council.

But i don't see how this is viable. Outdoors in November at 3-4am doesn't seem the smartest idea.
Its been done a couple of times indoors. Memorable Hatton v Tszyu, Haye v Maccarinelli. And as someone who attended it was a pain in the arse, a fucking nightmare to get back from and I imagine was a nightmare for the security going on what I saw.

Nah, if it’s in the UK, outdoors in November it needs to be a 10pm main event. Regardless of how little I care for the fight it will sell out Wembley with no problem
Haye vs Maccarinelli was a nightmare.
All the bars shut as soon as the let you in the O2 arena, and afterwards was just carnage trying to get home.

Walked home to Eltham in the end I think.

If it's in the UK in November then the only viable option is Cardiff in my opinion. There's also talk of Madison Square Garden.
In all likelihood it will be Saudi.

    Totally agree.
This fight should have taken place 4 or 5 years ago.
Now it's just about a big pay day before they hang up their gloves.

Its going to be like watching 2 town legends who were 'top boys' back in the day, going at it after 10 pints. Only people who win out of this are the managers and financial advisers.

There again no one has to buy tickets for the fight or PPV.

Different level but same as Mayweather and Manny fighting a few years too late.

    Exactly

It will sell out no question

Boxing is reaching a zenith now with the way the world is, it will either let shite like YouTube boxing/misfits take over as that nonsense somehow sells an incredible number of tickets or put a hard stop on protecting fighters with 25-0 soft records and handing them titles, ignoring the waffle around undefeated records and put the best fighters in the best fights. Pay them properly and those fights will happen.

I suspect the misfit/social media stuff will take over rather than the secind option though sadly

There are a few fighters who aren't scared of a loss and they fight everyone but they are far and away in the minority. Floyd, as good as he was had a very suspect attitude to fighting people in their prime.

Its criminal that the best fighters in weight divisions are kept away from each other when in their prime. I understand letting things build and letting fighters gain a following and reputation but the moment has to be seized, not have Hearn come out with waffle about why a fight can't happen.

It was good years ago when Duran, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns all fought each other, very exciting fights.

The AJ fight reminded me of the John Conteh v Jesse Burnett  controversy when Conteh got a draw after being put down twice.

Usyk vacates all belts - but not retiring. Probably wants more choice to who he fights and go out on his own terms, which honestly you can't blame him for.
Wants one big final fight apparently so can't be arsed with the mandatory challenges they want to give him.

Fair play to him, as rather than hold the divisions up, it now means the belts are all available for the guys next in line to fight for them.
He's seen how much a couple of yesterday's men like Fury and AJ can earn
    Makes the belts almost worthless
Lifting a gaudy belt sanctioned by one group of suits or another won't keep him in the manner to which he's become accustomed but a sportwashing bonanza in a morally bankrupt despotic state certainly could.

Was sad viewing, I think he should retire and forget about the Fury fight. Both him and Fury are shadows of them former selves
If that Albanian bum carpeted him twice then the gypsy king can show up in any condition at all and thump AJ right into retirement as quickly as he likes.  Trouble is someone could get really badly hurt, probably AJ

Brook Khan was many years past its sell by date but still a very interesting fight

Before I watched the AJ fight I was thinking he might have just had a chance against fury, who looked crap the other day from the highlights I saw. After watching him I think zero chance, his punch resistance has totally gone

The issue is that its very hard to gauge where Fury is at as he has always fought to his opponents level. We have only ever seen the best Tyson Fury when he is in with elite level HWs.

This is how I see it.
Fury has one of the best chins ever, who can forget the first fight with Wilder.
Both Fury and Joshua are past their best but I believe Fury could take a big shot from Joshua and recover.
Joshua on the other hand seems to have lost his punch resistance and that i believe will decide the fight.

Certainly was. Didn't see it finishing like that after O'Leary got back into the fight after the early knockdowns.
Re-match will be worth a watch.

Classic "boys this is a heavyweight title fight, and nobody is talking about it. Create a scene at the weigh-in for us would you?"

Can see this being an early bath for hrgovic. Hardly an original prediction, but itauma will have far too much for him

I said this in an earlier post in May:

I think Itauma would take out Hrgovic inside three rounds - Moses has ridiculous power, is very mobile and not easy to hit. Is he ready for a title shot? Not yet - but Hrgovic is bang average in my opinion.

I got the last bit wrong, but it's a title shot by default!

For the good of boxing I hope Moses wins and it sparks a reset ! I can’t be the only fan sick to death of the merry go round of old men fashioning fights ! It has become like wrestling in terms of bollox

They've been really trying to build up Hrgovic.

The guy lost to Zhang, lost to Dubois and has fought British Journeymen since.

If Itauma doesn't win handily, it's a disappointing fight for him.

It's not about his chances of beating Moses - it's about giving him an actual test, and hopefully taking him deep into a fight. It's the perfect fight for Itauma at this stage - Hrgovic should pose enough of a problem that it'll take a lot to wear him down, and if he bangs him out earlier, he looks good on his record.

Agree but if you're being asked to pay £25 for this fight, you should be getting more than just a 'test' fight.

He just doesnt move like a heavyweight. At least none of the crop we've been forced to watch over the last decade
