    I know it’s against a team two divisions lower but that was a good workout. Playing the ball forward and running at them with pace

    Even Coventry played a forward pass

    I agree. His aerial strength offsets his weakness on the ground in a three, but not in a two.

    This is the last thing I needed, to be honest. I’d got myself firmly in the headspace for a long old slog of a season in the bottom 6 and now they’ve gone and got my bloody hopes up. And you now what hope does to football supporters.

    Yes very good. Chalobah is very good on the ball, doesn't rush it and has a good pass in him, Coventry looks very good with Chalobah alongside him. The three forwards are a threat and Carey is doing his usual goal sniffing. The back four haven't been threatened but they have snuffed out any chance of that happening. This Cheltenham side is very poor, but you can only play against what's in front of you, Derby at home will be a whole different proposition and they had one of the best away records in last years Championship. Lets enjoy the day, hopefully get the expected signings in and look forward to seeing the teams progress.

    Must be tired, after all he had to get from London stadium to Cheltenham in about 40 mins to make kickoff
