It's weird because if there was a 3.5 million bid from Preston for TC, I definitely think we should consider it but IF Tyreece could play with the fire in his belly from yesterday then obviously I want him to stay.

If Harry Clarke at 25 is a potential 3 million pound player for Stoke then Kayne Ramsay surely is worth 4 million at 25 ?

Despite his critics' on CL I think a goal scoring Championship attacking midfielder is worth even more but I really wouldn't want to lose Carey who I believe will score double figures this season if Chalobah and the new midfielder are prime and ready to impact the season.

I still believe Coventry can play apart.
I have always found Conor a difficult player to mark on the scores on the doors as you need to watch twice.  The 2nd time to see what he does off the ball.
This is how the analysts earn their money and Managers can either take that on board or go with their gut reaction. NJ loves TC so maybe this can be the 2nd championship season improvement where Tyreece show his mettle.

I that were true the 1 million part I'd sooner keep him as he would be useful in keeping us in the championship. The loss of revenue from relegation would outweigh losing him for nothing in my opinion.

TC will go if the right amount comes in but I’d expect the “right amount” to be north of £5m. He is that important to how NJ wants us to play.

We won’t get north of 5m for TC in my opinion. Closer to 3m. If he were under contract for longer then who knows but now he’s into the last year then no.

And I doubt he’d go to Preston even if they agreed a fee with us. Somewhere like Norwich more likely.

Then he stays. Even if he goes next summer for nothing, we’ll get more than £3m extra in TV money simply for being in this league and not the one below it.

I know he gets pelters for his end product but he’s the only player we had last season who gets respect / double marked by the opposition. Lose him without sufficient resources to replace his threat and I worry for our season.

Question it comes down to is TC good enough to be the difference between survival and relegation or sneaks you into playoffs. 

Personally I don’t think so, would love TC to extend and stay but we could definitely utilise the money we get for him instead of letting him walk for free + minimal compensation 

Obviously we all have our own views, but personally I’d say he is good enough to be the difference between survival and relegation.

Coventry is no Keith Jones or Kinsella off the ball - I’m not sure what he does off the ball goes unnoticed . It’s his lack of speed and and poor passing that does him no favours.  He did play well yesterday , against a league 2 side.  

I'm and have always been in the George Dobson camp over Conor but while he is here I want him to do well.
He may just play a supporting role off the bench if the ITK guy is correct on the new Kenyan Midfielder Timothy Ouma is near to signing 🙄

I can assure you that isn't true now or in the past.

The most blatant case was the day that Kevin Lisbie scored his hat trick against Liverpool. I swapped seats with my Brother and I sat in the covered end and he sat in the west stand. 23 years ago but it's still imprinted in my memory.
This young guy who was in the same row but 4 seats along was giving Lisbie stick before and even after his first two goals. When Kevin's 3rd goal went in and everyone's on their feet cheering, this abuser just sat down with his head in his hands.
I'm sure there's many on here who gave Lisbie stick on his laid back performances but what kind of a person gives dogs abuse to a player on his greatest day in his career even as his goals were going in ? Rhetoric question as it's a bully.

This would be the longest post ever if I told you all the different cases of Fan/critics having it in for particular players in the days I was a 30 league games a season supporter or in recent years when part time at the Valley.
