I very much doubt he is on anywhere near that.TheHerminator said:Do we know TK is on £20k a week?
I would be curious to know what Grant is on here though as, while sources on the Internet state that he was on £20,000 a week at WBA, a WBA employee told me they were paying him £50,000.
Obviously the figures we see online are just estimates and it's entirely possible that he was on 50K at WBA, but we definitely won't be paying anywhere near that.0 -
he was given the chanceAberystwythAddick said:Mannion should’ve been given a chance in the champ, he was perfectly fine in League 1.That being said if we can improve in any position then we should3 -
Either salary, he should be quoted in WBA accounts as a high earner.AS1987 said:

WBA signed Grant while they were in the Prem, so 50k a week seems very possible. However, I imagine that would halve once they were relegated.1

What second part ?AberystwythAddick said:Bailey said:
I actually can't believe you wrote that without fact checking your info. Just to update you, Kaminski got injured just before the Chelsea cup game, Mannion deputised and retained his place, played eight more games with two clean sheets, he was selected even when Kaminski recovered from his jnjury, this was the case until the howler at home to Bristol City and another fumble when taking a cross at Sheff Wednesday.AberystwythAddick said:Mannion should’ve been given a chance in the champ, he was perfectly fine in League 1.That being said if we can improve in any position then we should

He played nine games and was incredibly unconvincing. He also had the howler against Bristol City. He’s unfortunately not the answer.AberystwythAddick said:Mannion should’ve been given a chance in the champ, he was perfectly fine in League 1.That being said if we can improve in any position then we should0 -
Can’t believe we are arguing about this. Mannion isn’t good enough to be number one, Kaminski is slightly better but we can do much better than Tomas. If we can shift him, getting a fee in the process, then we should.21

There should be no ensuring we can get a replace lined up first about it. If someone is willing to pay him what we’re paying him get it done ASAP. He’s a write off.

A quick google says he’s on £20k. When he signed it was said he was our highest earner.Over £1 million a year.0

It's true. In the same way people are saying we should be patient with a midfielder, we should apply the same logic here.TeeC said:There should be no ensuring we can get a replace lined up first about it. If someone is willing to pay him what we’re paying him get it done ASAP. He’s a write off.
He isn't good enough to earn us an extra 10-15 points a season anyway, and if we can sell him, we should take the 'risk'.
Not a chance we can't find someone better for 20k a week/our highest earner. Whatever it is, it's a waste of wages.3 -

If you play 4 at the back you ideally want a keeper who is good with his feet or a midfielder that drops into the gap for goal kicks or when it goes back to the keeper.0
-
People going on about the wage thing are acting like they wouldn't try to negotiate the best salary possible if they started a new job. It's the club's fault for paying it (however much it actually is).2

Rotterdam isn't too far from the part of Belgium where Kaminski seems to have grown up, so possibly an attractive move for him on that basis.3

Are you referring to Hulls goal? If so, he was being pulled back, photos were added to the post match thread at the time clearly showing the foulAberystwythAddick said:
There were plenty, the one that always sticks in my mind is the Hull game at the valley where he tried to get a foul on one of the Hull players. Just fell to floor expecting the refs whistlerobroy said:
Shocking may have been a tad harsh, he did make some poor mistakes last season.TheHerminator said:
Is he shocking though?robroy said:TK is shocking, we need better. The rumoured £20k a week is scandalous.I can think of a number of times last year he made absolute worldy saves to keep us in games.
he’s limited but shocking is a bit OTT I think1 -

Let’s be honest, if we didn’t have the solid start with LJ, Amari Bell, Edwards and sometimes Bree towards the start of the season…we would never have kept the number of clean sheets which we kept. I’m not denying he didn’t pull of some good saves but on the balance of it, he isn’t what we need.MartinCAFC said:
He also saved us on countless occasions too and was part of many of the early season clean sheets. Would be interesting reading though if there's any stats out there how he compared against other keepers last season, points saved, points lost etccafc_se7 said:
I feel it’s absolutely justified. He cost us a lot of goals last season.follett said:The hatred towards Kaminski is so over the top but given he’s one of our highest earners, if we had a sensible replacement lined up then go for it. Personally don’t think Mannion is ready to be a championship number one
And if you're in the firing line all game for 90 mins as was the case when we had that horrible run November - January then sooner or later mistakes will happen. I doubt any keeper would have done much better last season the way teams were running through us game after game in this period.1 -
I liked Lukas Jensen before he moved to Millwall.I wonder if they’d let him go. Wasn’t first choice for them last year.2
-
I did. I guess I don’t understand “should’ve been given a chance” and “he’s not the answer”. So you want us to play him for sentimental reasons and drop points because he was a good servant two years ago?AberystwythAddick said:Bailey said:

He was unfortunately injured most of last year. Think they’ve got high hopes for him. Was really hoping we’d get him when he went to Milwall.covered_end_junior said:I liked Lukas Jensen before he moved to Millwall.I wonder if they’d let him go. Wasn’t first choice for them last year.0 -

No keeper will be free from mistakes, same as no player on the pitch is perfect. But our keepers are currently overly error prone0
-
That Bob Bolder's always hanging around the place getting in the way, couldnt he have a bash?5
-
Both keepers aren't good enough, so if we have the chance to move on from them I absolutely would. However, we aren't going to be able to sign a keeper if we don't shift one of them on. Kaminski is the more likely one due to his experience.0
-
Agree with that logic about the defence keeping the clean sheets but equally if we had that defence throughout November - January we wouldn't have had an onslaught at our goal every game and pretty sure the whole team's confidence, Kaminsky included, wouldn't have dropped and errors crept in as they did.cafc_se7 said:

We do need to improve on Kaminsky i'll agree but he's certainly not as bad as being made out in this thread which seems largely where the rumoured £20k a week is likely clouding harsh comments towards him too.0 -

Would Gavin Bazunu be worth a punt?
Clearly out of favour at Saints.2 -
Who plays in goal for the Kenyan national team…surely we will have to be linked with him12
