    Either salary, he should be quoted in WBA accounts as a high earner.

    WBA signed Grant while they were in the Prem, so 50k a week seems very possible.  However, I imagine that would halve once they were relegated.

Just to update you, Kaminski got injured just before the Chelsea cup game, Mannion deputised and retained his place, played eight more games with two clean sheets, he was selected even when Kaminski recovered from his jnjury, this was the case until the howler at home to Bristol City and another fumble when taking a cross at Sheff Wednesday.

    There should be no ensuring we can get a replace lined up first about it. If someone is willing to pay him what we’re paying him get it done ASAP. He’s a write off.

    It's true. In the same way people are saying we should be patient with a midfielder, we should apply the same logic here. 

    He isn't good enough to earn us an extra 10-15 points a season anyway, and if we can sell him, we should take the 'risk'. 

    Not a chance we can't find someone better for 20k a week/our highest earner. Whatever it is, it's a waste of wages.

    If you play 4 at the back you ideally want a keeper who is good with his feet or a midfielder that drops into the gap for goal kicks or when it goes back to the keeper.

    People going on about the wage thing are acting like they wouldn't try to negotiate the best salary possible if they started a new job. It's the club's fault for paying it (however much it actually is).

    Rotterdam isn't too far from the part of Belgium where Kaminski seems to have grown up, so possibly an attractive move for him on that basis.

    I can think of a number of times last year he made absolute worldy saves to keep us in games.

    he’s limited but shocking is a bit OTT I think 
    Shocking may have been a tad harsh, he did make some poor mistakes last season. 
    There were plenty, the one that always sticks in my mind is the Hull game at the valley where he tried to get a foul on one of the Hull players. Just fell to floor expecting the refs whistle
    Are you referring to Hulls goal? If so, he was being pulled back, photos were added to the post match thread at the time clearly showing the foul

    He also saved us on countless occasions too and was part of many of the early season clean sheets. Would be interesting reading though if there's any stats out there how he compared against other keepers last season, points saved, points lost etc

    And if you're in the firing line all game for 90 mins as was the case when we had that horrible run November - January then sooner or later mistakes will happen. I doubt any keeper would have done much better last season the way teams were running through us game after game in this period.
    Let’s be honest, if we didn’t have the solid start with LJ, Amari Bell, Edwards and sometimes Bree towards the start of the season…we would never have kept the number of clean sheets which we kept. I’m not denying he didn’t pull of some good saves but on the balance of it, he isn’t what we need.

    I liked Lukas Jensen before he moved to Millwall. 

    I wonder if they’d let him go. Wasn’t first choice for them last year.

    I did. I guess I don’t understand “should’ve been given a chance” and “he’s not the answer”. So you want us to play him for sentimental reasons and drop points because he was a good servant two years ago?

    I’d settle for a keeper that kept the ball out of the net when he should do

    No keeper will be free from mistakes, same as no player on the pitch is perfect. But our keepers are currently overly error prone

    Both keepers aren't good enough, so if we have the chance to move on from them I absolutely would. 

    However, we aren't going to be able to sign a keeper if we don't shift one of them on. Kaminski is the more likely one due to his experience.

    Agree with that logic about the defence keeping the clean sheets but equally if we had that defence throughout November - January we wouldn't have had an onslaught at our goal every game and pretty sure the whole team's confidence, Kaminsky included, wouldn't have dropped and errors crept in as they did.

    We do need to improve on Kaminsky i'll agree but he's certainly not as bad as being made out in this thread which seems largely where the rumoured £20k a week is likely clouding harsh comments towards him too.
