    Stick with it, it doesn't hold any surprises and leans back on a lot of stuff Ricky has produced before in him getting his world view out in an abstract way. David Earl plays Brian Gittens/Kev from Derek but as a digusting cat as opposed to a disgusting human, The guy who played Ashley in phoneshop and ratty in afterlife also plays to type. Kerry Godliman and Jo Hartley are good as is Tom Basden. 

    Like I say, no surprises but there are some laughs to be had, he has done it all before though

    Great season finale for House of Dragons sets up the final season nicely

    Mondays had become my favourite telly day, Lioness and House of the Dragon 

    That last HOD episode was excellent, the writers have done a very decent job with the source material. Made a few changes and the casting has been spot on

    I’m hoping Gervais did it as some sort of ‘joke
    ‘ that Netflix will just air anything he writes, cos it truly is shocking.

    I watched all 6 and it’s the same rinse and repeat. Talk about some random subject about animals, swear a lot, try pull heart strings.

    I was at a wedding in the UK last week where the groom is an actor in HoD. He specialises in the fight scenes. He and his buddies were all there in tartan with swords drinking out of horns. It was brilliant. Pity I don’t watch it. He’s in Highlander too.

    Murder in a Small Town, Ch 4 seems pretty decent. Had Donald Sutherland in the first episode.
    Wife likes Ann Droid. Is this the future? Jeeze!

    The 3 part Mourinho documentary on Netflix is an absorbing watch. Already known that he took the United job but then decided to go back to Chelsea.

    It was interesting to hear in the first episode that he somehow before the Bolton home game showed the players a training session during the week of Allardyce criticising Chelseas aerial prowess at the back.  Makes me think the Southampton spy gate saga is not a one off. Surprised it hasn't been picked up by the media.

    Ride or Die with Hannah Waddingham is OK. Slow Horses meets Tarantino. Bit too much violence for my liking though all but one of the characters are strong and well acted and it’s a fairly fast moving plot line. Unfortunately the exception re the good acting is the arch villain, which weakens it a bit imo.

    Little Bird(Sky Atlantic)

    Six part Canadian drama about the plight of indigenous children who were forcibly taken from their families and adopted. A really gripping but also difficult watch - one of the best things I've seen on TV this year.

    Gomorrah Origins is superb. Just as high quality as the original series (which is on a par with the Wire and the Sopranos in the gangster TV pantheon) but with the added bonus of late 1970s euro-fashion. Had been planning to rewatch the original in any event so lucky this came out just before I started.

    Extremely late to the table with this but we started watching Game of Thrones this week. Only 4 episodes in but think it's ok.

    However, if I knew what a jug fest it is, I would have watched it years ago!

    I watched late mate. 
    Smashed through it all in around 2 months.

    I don't know if anyone realised but the last series of Colin from Accounts (Season 3) went live on BBC iplayer yesterday and was on BBC2 at 10pm last night.

    Last series so trying to pace the episodes. So tempting to binge the whole lot in one go.

    If you like this I’d also recommend you try ‘Fisk’. 

    Some very good humour in my opinion with a similar ‘dry’  style and a few sprinkles of odd ball characters in addition to the main character.

    Came across an ITVX series via an out of date paper in the M&S cafe last week & decided to investigate further.. 

    A 10 episode series entitled " One Dollar" with the journalist bewailing the fact it had been aired at 11pm , hence lots of potential viewers missing out. 

    REALLY enjoyed it ! Difficult to describe but please give it a go - stick with it through any "quiet" periods you may encounter as it's totally worth it, despite the annoying adverts.

    Interested to hear anyone's views.

    The opening was so, so unsettling. Absolutely brutal without really showing anything. I thought Camille's performance was unreal as well - but yeah, Zukerman's acting basically with his eyes only was unreal.

    Just watched first 2 episodes expecting 3rd series to not be as good.
    But no It’s still great in my opinion.
    Love it.
