Shame as Greg who runs Old Kings Head on Borough High Street is a silent partner there. A lot of Fullers Managed pubs are a bit soulless these days.

Went in The Vanbrugh NEAR Maze Hill Station on Saturday. Was ok and hopefully my observations about not having any bitter on other than Directors, will be noted.
They could also be a bit more "football-savvy" with their menu on matchday, if they want to attract a few more supporters.
I will visit again though, as it wasn't bad at all and nice to have another option near a local (to Charlton) station.0 -

Shame went there after the big half marathon with family and friends. Was a nice pub and I enjoyed the independent beers they done.The Prince Albert in bexleyheath has gone now Phil the landlord massive Charlton fan has been quite critical of the way he has been treated by shepherd neame and it looks justified.1

Yep that’s the one a real shame as I used to go every Thursday with my boss as he stays down at the Marriott. Very handy but is no surprise as was never that busy due to the ridiculous prices the brewery charges them.DA9 said:

However, a current lunch offer that currently doesn't offer sandwiches/steak & kidney pie/fish & chips etc, is unlikely to pull many of those in. If they sort that out and get their bitters up and running, then I think they could pull a few more in and help to tick over until summer....when they will score because of their very decent garden.1 -

Pub A has a deal with a brewery owned by a massive organisation.
Brewdog asks pub A to stock their drink, pub A refuses or offers incredibly unfair terms for stocking.
Price of brewdog drops as a company.
The major brewerys have a cartel on the market whixh will drive out independents who dont play the game.
