Leaburn was excellent when he came on, would love for him to be able to start 30 plus games this season. How many 6ft 6 strikers can run with the ball at a decent pace?

    BLOODY BUZZING.

    TC and Leaburn, immense!

Had a fantastic day. Uncle Tone with the forfeit half and half scarf 😂

Used to play curbsie and goalie squash right where you're standing
Is this where the cut through is the Academy players use?

I took my friend who at the age of 62 attended her first ever game. She doesn’t watch football on tv but wanted to experience a game.
Her observation at half time was…….” Why do Charlton keep kicking it to the little man up front    ( Godden) when he has 3 huge men around him?
Her full time observation……” why do Charlton play around with it near the goal instead of trying to score”. ……….. “ the referee seems scared of the players”
    interesting observations I thought.

A couple of people who sit near me are on TCs back every game, all game. It took them 15 minutes of a new season to start screaming at him. After his goal they sat down whilst the whole stand was up chanting the sway song. Hold that
There are pockets of these freaks all over the ground. Mouth breathers.
Like I said earlier, so many cocks in covered end. Never had it before even in the sell outs.

Derby fans magnanimous in defeat :

"I predicted we would be crap first ten games of the season we've lost to a team who come the end of the season will be in a relegation battle. Crap Manager. Crap club. Crap players. After 55 years of supporting this pathetic club I give up. We will be never get anywhere without a better manager and invest in better player which is never going to happen because were skint."

Bet his missus was looking forward to him coming home.
  • @lordromford Swansea and WBA both won away, that’s my guess for why they’re above us in league.
    Correct.

    Rules for classification:
    1) Points
    2) Goal difference
    3) Number of goals scored
    4) Head-to-head results
    5) Wins
    6) Away goals

    😂😂😂😂 we’re going down lad

Such poor opposition that we comfortably beat you. They are letting their one decent season in years somewhat go to their heads I think.

Not really sure how to comment on today just a really good team effort
Such early days but with an upgrade on Conor and Mannion expected I think we will do fine

Has she considered a career in coaching? Can't fault her logic.

The level of boos at half time was embarrassing.

TC outstanding. A really amazing first performance for trying out the new shape. Who cares about a 3-0 defeat to Reading now. Pre season is there for a reason!
The boos were for the ref
Thought the ref was poor today, made some really bizarre decisions, we should have had at least one penalty!

Anyone else disappointed that our FIIIIISH advert has been relegated to the advertising boards on the West Stand instead of the big screen?
No be glad to see the end off it. For some reason I just find it annoying now

It’s insane imo.  Fair enough they’ve got aspirations for promotion, but even when we were in league one, I didn’t expect us to turn up and get 3 points.

the Championship is a tight league.  We’re not an established club at that level yet, but equally, we’re not a gimmie.  They may well finish above us this season by a good few points, but over 90mins, there’s never going to be too much between us

    silly comments really

What was the pulsating club crest on the big screen all about? Looked like it was trying to reconnect to the wifi

There was about 6 subs in the space of 2 mins so I’m guessing they had to update the player graphics

Does anyone know how the guy being treated outside the west stand is? It looked serious as we were leaving but wishing him well.

Fantastic Result and we deserved it!!
should have had a penalty but unfortunately the referee was completely incompetent
especially when Derby were dirty on several occasions and should have seen more yellow cards.
great start to the new season 👍👍👍👍

Seen a few comments on the Derby forum that Leaburn changed the game for us.

I wouldn’t go that far, but thought that he played well when he came on, and was a real handful for their tiring defenders.

I’ve been a bit down on Miles for a few seasons s now, but thought in patches today he showed that potential again that he hasn’t quite realised fully yet. Hopefully he’s coming good.

I agree that he changed the game. Hidden didn’t really get a look in against their central defender.

The Boo,s at half time were for the ref, who had yet again turned down a clear Charlton free kick.

    However, ended well for me….
