    I really hope Mbick isn’t part of any deal for JRS. I have a feeling we’ll see more of him this season than many think and by next summer could be worth two or three times JRS’s value.

    Even if there has been a measurable decrease in Mbick’s stats that doesn’t mean it’s permanent. He’s coming back from a bad injury so there’s almost certainly a measurable decrease at this point.

    If Mbick was part of the JRS deal, it would need to be cash and JRS for Mbick, and we all know that isn't happening

    An interesting question - how many youth players would Brighton have to poach before you’d prefer us to sell Mbick to Palace/Millwall?

    They’ve taken Beadle and Ezenwata so far, plus they signed Sarmiento from Benfica who poached him from us, just to add to the frustration of what might have been.

    In a year or 18 months that could easily be the case right now I don’t even think it’s a consideration.

    As a Sussex local I'm at my limit. There's enough talent in Sussex that they don't need to be signing the likes of Ezenwata and Mbick.

    I still don't believe we've got 4-5 million to spend on JRS, but if we do somehow manage to sign him & Okonkwo, I genuinely believe we could push for Top half
