Now I might be blowing this way out of proportion here but the way Rich phrased this tweet made it sound like to me that JRS is very close to signing. The statement/question proposed specifically asked about Jes which Rich could have denied if it wasn’t close but the fact that he said he’s not expecting any news today suggests that it may even be done and announced Sunday/Monday? Again I may have taken this so wrong but it did make me wonder.

His preference is us, so that’s a positive! Cawley also sounded more positive so let’s just wait and see.

Yeah I think you might be reading a bit too much into that. Still, dare to dream!

Cmon lad you’ve never got anything right, there’s a few in the know on here but you’re not one of them. No offence but you’re not in the know.

RoV suggesting that it was supposed to be announced today and that JRS was at Sparrows Lane for much of yesterday...sincerely hope that we haven't been gazumped

I don’t know why people thought it was done. No agreement has been reached with Palace. I think Burnley are the favourites to sign him. Some people on here and the other Forum have seriously jumped the gun.

Some of you guys read so much into nothing! 😂 but it wouldn’t be a rumour thread without that!

that’s the vibe I got. Would be odd for him to be at the training ground and for nothing to have been announced.

Easy to say that after the fact isn’t it.

Rich liked a comment by an idiot on his substack, that implied NJ was hinting it is going to happen with his responses when asked about it. Not the normal dead bat, more a dead bat with a wait and see angle.

All we can do really, is wait and see.

Hopefully it comes off but when big hitters money wise are involved, doubt will creep in!

You need your hair cut, AFKA

Never mind a haircut Oggster, he needs a beard trim, looks like Catweazle 😉.

    No, that's not AFKA ..... that's @BlackfenLen

......hiding behind the hedge at Sparrows Lane.

No likes or lols at time of this comment. Definitely worth wasting all that fresh water
By 2030, AI's water use will match the needs of 1.3 billion people while its power use triples that of 650 million, UN University investigation warns.

The dinosaurs were made extinct by a meteorite.  Humans will do it to themselves. The steamroller excellently symbolises the stupidly (not explicitly aimed at the person generating that sole specific image).

Do we know if Burnley or other clubs even want him? I had a look but could only see a website mentioning Football League World claimed Burnley and another club want him.

A lot of rumour sites say the signing of JRS is a battle between Burnley and Wrexham.

All using FLW as a source, I wouldn’t take it too seriously

Being in NZ, i have no chance of ever being ITK but it is of some comfort to have a panoramic view from my office window of commuter trains, freight trains, and the occasional steam train. From the same window i can see a couple of passenger ferries. And an assortment of buses regularly rumble past.

I don't mean to brag but look at the girth of those railway sidings in the background. (for the nature lovers there is a few rabbits living in among the greenery on the bank)

If Millwall or Palace fans ever get ahold of this, we’re finished.

    (Send more train pics)
I've got you @ElliotCAFC . Note the Cargo ship (possibly livestock ferry) that has just arrived and at the far right ...Cranes!

    Oi Kiwi Valley.
Don't look out the window too much this morning or you'll have nothing left to do this afternoon mate! Do you like Arse or Leemon in your tea?
Arse or Leemon ? I’ve spent 15 mins trying to understand what you’re saying and am completely lost. But it did make me think of Rachel Riley in a tight pair of yellow satin undies so I thank you.

Can’t see Wrexham or Burnley being interested. Wrexham for starters don’t even play with wingers and don’t think a recently relegated club in Burnley would look at Rak-Sayki and think he’s the type of player to help them back into the prem.

Do we know for sure that Rak-Sakyi is coming? Or is it like 60% sure?
    It's approximately 67.2% sure.

To be fair, the picture @SheedyCAFC posted of the smashed up car with the number plate “BONNE” is a candidate for post of the year.
(On page 589 of this thread, in case you’re wondering…)
    170 lols, 1 like.

Would love to know more about @Kips 'like' giving thought process.
I assume that kips is like me and treats 'lol' relatively literally. I cannot give a lol unless a comment provokes a laugh, a guffaw, a titter or slight expulsion of air from the nostrils. If there is none of the above, the correct reaction is a 'Like'.

Could the mods please make this mandatory?
I interpret LOL as a derisive sneer.

Golfie is today's loser. He alone has been pleading for us to sign a no.10 playmaker. Finally, Jones agrees to buy one just to stop Golfie's whinging, only for Albert Bennett to fail a medical.

I call it the lol of derision, instead of people just saying they disagree they do a snide lol like they are better than anyone else, then you get the ones who just read who has written the post and lol of derision it!!😂
