Parkinson well caught by Higgins off Roland-Jones for a useful 17.
241/9.
Quinn has come out swinging so this shouldn’t last too long.2 -

hmm, 54 for no lose so far
anyone know if theres any life in this pitch for our lot to get the wickets?2 -
We need some wickets 56-0 off 14 overs. Only300 needed to win.2
-
And now Ekansh has got Hollman nicking one into Benjamin’s waiting gloves. 103/3.7
-
Parkinson makes a superb catch in the deep to remove Geddes. Dudgeon the bowler. Middlesex were building well, so that was an important wicket.
171/4 needing 356.4 -
I'm pretty nervous about the outcome of this match now.
Anyone else have similar concerns or is there optimism out there ?0 -
We make it so much harder for ourselves with some very wayward bowling. Constantly giving away well over 4 runs and over. The prospects are sadly not looking great for Kent to stop Middlesex in their run chase. Dudgeon constantly vey wayward.0

The umpires draw the day to a close with the bad light depriving us of three overs. 186/4.
I think Kent will be glad of that. The bowlers were definitely looking jaded so they will look forward to starting again tomorrow, refreshed and reinvigorated.
Northants look favourites to get a result against Lancashire, so a win for Kent is vital.5 -
I share your apprehension, but 356 in a fourth innings will be an exceptional chase. I still fancy our boys to do the job tomorrow, but it will take a bit more discipline than the bowlers showed this evening.Fanny Fanackapan said:I'm pretty nervous about the outcome of this match now.
