McNamara wasn't overawed by playing in front of the biggest home crowd of his career
and he must have thought he was at a church picnic without the effing and blinding that he normally experiences.
He’s dead to us now the fackin maggy caaaarnt.

All jokes aside, I hope he does well for you. But not too well 😉

    always a model pro.
Big game for him next Saturday. He'll either score the winner or get sent off  :D
    Or both.

What most expected, played well and solid defending. I think on a free has been a great buy.

A proper right back, excellent as a 1v1 defender (which is his most important job in a back 4). Didn’t shirk a tackle, in fact he seemed to relish them.

bit he also got forward well and put in a few decent crosses.

looks like the sort of fella that will be a 7/8 out of 10 most weeks. In a back four with Edwards at LB we’d be pretty strong defensively. Wouldn’t be a given that Ramsey automatically comes straight back in IMO

Seemed very comfortable at the level, no silly mistakes and not overly under pressure to make a good impression on his first showing. Looked really street-smart and calm, knew when to win a foul, be a bit nasty, use his body well, let the ball run out etc

Completely agree with the solly comparisons. Solly was probably a bit better on the ball but his no frills solid defensive work for some one of small stature is very similar to the great Solls.

Top performance. Absolutely everywhere today. Love to see it
  • I prefer this kinda RB than Kayne's style of drama tbh!

A few games in and I have to say he is going to be nearly as popular here as at The Tool Box.  Grafts and battles but has a bit of skill as well, reminiscent of Solly, not the biggest but plays like he is, out jumping and muscling much bigger players.

Him laughing in the face of that diving prick after he missed his penalty has already elevated him to the level of hero……
    Agree, it was beautiful!!!

He reminds me of Chris Solly
Not doing anything today to sway me from that opinion

That Solly is shout is bang on. Nothing out of this world, but does his job and does it brilliantly!

The way he goaded the West Ham tosser when he fluffed the penalty was priceless. Turning out to be a great little signing.

The amount of last ditch defending he did at the back post today. So many times I thought we were fucked but then he’d head or block something

Kayne's wearing a medical walking boot and will be out for a while (sounds like 8 weeks), so need to keep Danny Mac fit.
