At West Ham they did a pint of lager or a cider for £4.50 each up to 45 mins prior to kick off.
We are charging the best part of £7 or above for a pint.
As well as improving the atrocious service they need to reduce the price of drinks to attract people into the stadium rather than drinking and eating elsewhere.
It isn't rocket science and cant believe that over the summer it has actually got worse and more expensive.10 -

It was the Meantime Pale Ale which was a bit cheaper !! However, it did taste of Lemon Fairy Liquid so should of gone with the very expensive Black Cab.0

Just leaving these here, for some perspective, not saying it doesn't need improving but that's at a state of the art PL stadium.1 -
I was in a hospitality area and pre match the draft beer went off. I thought it was part of them making us feel at home. A bit like the welcome drink - a lavender margarita which perfectly complemented our kit. It was good fun and somewhat compensated for the football! But please, never at The Valley, where we like it a bit real and scruffy!

I got to the spurs ground early (a touch after 6) and in the away end it wasn’t too busy and the madri was decent and no queues so had a couple of pints that led to 27 pisses ffs but as soon as the masses turned up that was my cue to escape to the seats.
the problem is people , if everyone fucked off life would be a lot easier11 -
Was in block 424, got in just before 7, queues were quite long then, the lad serving my queue was quite slow, that's my only gripe. They were using the bottom up filling system with the beer using the hard plastic glasses, then pouring them into flimsy plastic glasses, found that strange, which obviously delayed things.
However, the food & prices were good.1 -

I have to say all the complaints I had from the Derby game that were noted on here and acknowledged by the club were dealt with today.
More tables, maybe not more chairs?
Food options much more family friendly, £6.50 for a Kids chicken goujons and fries (which I would have eaten) kept us all happy.
The extra bar at one end of the fans bar, near the toilets, where 3/4 poured pints were topped up when required was great.
Im normally very negative but today was positive, on and off the pitch, well done the club for listening to the complaints.9 -
Felt very empty after the game. I guess everyone had enough after last week.
Queue times were quicker but beer was warm and I was twice served a pint that was half something and half something else.1 -
An improvement but still more work to be done.
More tables but not enough chairs to go around it seemed.
Soft drinks on offer different to the Covered Upper eg you can buy a Cherry Pepsi Max in the Covered Upper but not in the Fans Bar. Different snacks behind both bars too which is quite odd. An improvement but still more to do just to get back to how it was last season.2 -
Got a snack from Greggs in Blackheath Village and had it with a Cappuccino in the little outlet in Blackheath station.
All for about a fiver.
However the fans bar was a good place to go before the game to meet up with my brother, watch the warming up through the window, and have a posh piddle in the bogs there.2 -
A big problem in the lower CE (early doors) was staff just not trained. Not their fault, and we were very patient . Made loads of mistakes each time like overcharging, not knowing what zero beer was, not being able find items on screen etc. Funniest was lad and his girlfriend given 2 pints of cider rather that 2 Peroni - they apologised and changed the 2 pints of cider with 2 half filled pints of beer (pre-poured). Lad said I paid for pints, so they just poured one half into the other and magically his pint appeared! Except as he pointed out he had paid for 2 pints, which confused them for another minute before a supervisor stepped in and gave him another pint!.6
