I think i'd go:
Okonkwo
McNamara Burke Collins Mesik
Ouma Mwamba
Knibbs
Apter Mbick Alli
Considering that's 9 changes it still looks stronger than most teams we put out last season!1 -
They don't seem to have taken the Premier League too seriously in the last couple of years.JohnBoyUK said:
given we have no european football this season, its imperative we do well in the cups. Simple as that. I just hope our lot take the game seriously. We have come unstuck so many times over the years where we underestimate lower league opposition.HastingsRed said:
Yep and it's probably Spurs's best chance of a trophy....rather we beat PNE on Saturday.Six-a-bag-of-nuts said:
I think Nathan Jones will say that he is "putting out a team to win the game".TBWAH said:This will be a close game.
We have no strikers, well, we have expensive strikers but they are Dog and Duck level so nothing for CAFC to worry about.
The odd goal wins it and that could go either way.
In reality I think he will make 6 or 7 changes to give hitherto bit part players and recovering injured some minutes.
We may be competitive but personally I am not expecting an upset.
It's a big night out for the fans nothing more, we won the one that mattered last Saturday.7 -
What about if you're starting at the other end of the line?ElfsborgAddick said:conker said:JohnBoyUK said:NP will always be busy but not as rammed as WHL straight after the end of a game. How about before the game going to White Hart Lane, what is that like?
No problem assuming you are starting your journey at Liverpool Street.1 -
O'Hara is already giving it the 'we can't lost this one'........Cundy retorted with 'oh yes you can' and referred to Saturday's win.JohnBoyUK said:

Be funny to see us win if only for the Sports Bar clips that would follow0 -
O'Hara only enhances the view most of us have about Spurs and their arrogance.Elthamaddick said:

Well, thats how we are portrayed by the media. In reality, Spurs fans are amongst the most self deprecating in the country.3 -
O Hara is a massive See Ya anyway, always hamming it up1
-
I dont give us any chance tomorrow and tbh Im not that bothered, Saturday is the game that matters ! but it will be funny I think as I'm pretty sure NJ will use the squad and play our fringe players whereas after the weekend I can see them putting their 1st 11 out. Imagine if we manage to give them even a slightly uncomfortable evening0
-
Exactly, we coined the 'Spursy' tag and the 'Dr Tottenham' tag and everyone now uses it.TBWAH said:

We've always been self depreciating. FFS, only we could get floored for CL by a dodgy lasagne, lose 4-3 when 3-0 up against 10 men at half time, dicked by a handball 20odd seconds into a CL final...it feels like we're cursed at times. 25 years of Levy and ENIC done that to us. We are a complete different fanbase now (because of the last 25 years of ENIC!)
Btw, its really weird there's another 'me' on here after 20 years!5 -

I've said it before and I'll say it again, time and time again our lot underestimate lower league opposition.
Tbh, I want us to throw caution to the wind and play the best available XI possible. The more we play together, the quicker we'll gel at a team. On Saturday evening, we looked far from a team. We looked more of a team at the end of last season so thats a massive concern.
Our front line on Saturday was as sterile as it has looked in years. Thank god we got in Savio/Savinho this morning.1 -

Spursy was actually started by the TFC podcast as a piss take of our bad luck. Then fans of other teams showed their originality by copying it and using it in the wrong context.1 -

Avoid getting stabbed in Enfield.

Should never have got rid of David Pleat.

Tottenham have spent £300 million this summer and our team at West Ham cost half a million.
Anything less than a 600-0 victory for Tottenham will be a clear moral victory for us and every reason to sing.4 -

Between 9-2 and 11-1 apparently. Big spread.
5-1 the draw in 90 minutes (Coral) is attractive.0 -
We were 7/1 to beat West Ham in the pub, then by the time I was in the ground it was 6/1, and I'm gutted I didn't stick a fiver on.TBWAH said:OhMyGodden said:

How's this for karma - I decided to subscribe to Valley Gold on Sunday and today I've managed to snaffle two spare tickets off a mate!Off_it said:
10,000+ season ticket holders, but only 5,000+ tickets available.FremlinsFellow said:It’s not a bad thing for the club to review the arrangements from time to time.Lots of constructive comments on here and personally if I was a new season ticket holder I’d believe I would be able to get a ticket for this match, based on the allocation, even if I was unable to bring a mate along. I don’t think that would be an unreasonable assumption. The club do not want to discourage new season ticket holders who want to feel part of the Charlton community and may be unaware how the stages / phases work.
Why would any season ticket holders automatically assume they would get a ticket based on those numbers alone?
And that's before you factor in VG, points for away games, 2 tickets per person, etc.
I never got tickets but thems the breaks and we all know the rules. What I've been doing since is trying to work out how I can maybe increase my points total for the next big game, not bleat and moan and threaten to take the club - my club - to court!

I went on National Rail journey planner for trains back to Bromley after and there were no issues. Business as usual.3 -
