Remember Middlesbrough away! COYA3

Pissed me off a lot.Southendaddick said:That team has pissed me off a bit2 -
Sort of see where Jones is going with this one,but don’t know bout starting or playing Brooks in this game obvs could be a hero or if we were to get battered won’t do his confidence any good…in NJ we trust…🙌
Cmon U Addicks0 -
Other than potential injuries, tiredness ahead of Saturday and the ending of a really good start to the league season, no nothing to lose reallyBigRedEvil said:Would have played the first team and given it a good go. Nothing to lose8 -
Burke not even on the bench - injured or on his way out?0

Billy is the token 1st team player who started one of the first two matches.
Perhaps his name was picked out in the draw ?

Evening all

Oh wow. Even Brooks is starting.
Bradley Tagoe on the bench - for those who haven’t seen him, he’s similar to a young TC before he bulked up, but left footed. Has even spent time at wing back.9 -
Have no issue with a rested side to be honest. If we beat Preston on Saturday then it's a good decision.13

Exactly what I expected lineup wise bar I expected Sichenje at RB not Asiimwe0
-
I like it. I think Jones really believes that we can make 8th and has a laser-like focus on maximising points in the league.
Also quite a few of those players need minutes.9 -
Did the same last year and rotated almost everyone for the Cambridge away game.Worked though as the first team were well rested for the league game on the Saturday; which we lost 3-1 at QPR.11

Club can't win, play the first XI, Leaburn and Bell get crocked, we get spanked 4 nil anyway and you'll all be up in arms about it.

Just looked on Facebook and team announcement has dozens of comments mainly from Kenyans saying they will smash it!!8
-
Brooks and Asiimwe are the only real surprises for me although I didn’t expect so many to fully get the night off0
-
Surprised we ever play the first team considering there's a 100% chance they get injured if they walk onto the pitch.4

Except an injury or 2 three days before the Preston gameBigRedEvil said:Would have played the first team and given it a good go. Nothing to lose2 -
Don't mind the front 4. 3 hungry attacking players behind Mbick, all with points to prove. I reckon they'll cause the Spursy defence problems.
Bizarre game to give Brookes his debut in though. I can understand playing Mannion if he was available, but Brookes is the clear 3rd choice keeper.2 -
Play on the right then, do he?Scoham said:Oh wow. Even Brooks is starting.

Minutes for players who need it is a good reason.
Minutes for players that won’t be getting anywhere near our first team and may well be leaving anyway? Not so sure.
Anyway - let’s back them and hopefully they do us proud1 -
Would love to see Mbick get a goal tonight.3
-
That line up’s hilarious.0
-
Yeah, when I’ve seen him he’s usually been right wing or left wing back.Briston_Addick said:

But then we lost Godden to a training ground injury. You can't wrap footballers up in cotton wool 24/7.sam3110 said:Club can't win, play the first XI, Leaburn and Bell get crocked, we get spanked 4 nil anyway and you'll all be up in arms about it.2 -
Why is the line up a shock to so many on social media !!! Been saying all week once the game was changed we were never going to field a strong line up especially after winning two games in the league …. .. suppose Brooks is a shock but Costello not even getting a start tonight tells you he may be leaving ..2

No Kanu in that squad is a bit of a surprise. Presumably there's an offer on the table if he isn't being risked?1

Is this Doch’s farewell?3
