Sorry for the fans that went but I’ve never seen a game chucked so much ..
We didn't chuck it at all, what a ridiculous comment

Brooks gotta be number 1 after that first half performance, surely
I'm not for digging him out considering he's never played anywhere near this level, but he showed exactly why he's not played anywhere near this level with their first goal.
And why it was an absolutely ridiculous decision to start him tonight.

What did people expect from this team? Admittedly some haven't been at their best but come on!

What a waste of a tie playing that lineup

Spurs 77% possession - agree should just go for it but with ...
Knibbs: anon & doesn't like a tackle or create anything
    Doc passing/control/non-ability - ala Mitchell?

    Thought rest did ok.
    Kudos to traveling 5k+

Hopefully Koumetio’s injury isn’t serious- I didn’t even see it.  Worried about Collins.

Overall they’re digging in.  Asiimwe been fighting hard at LB and this is a youngster who spent all last season in League One.  Alli trying to make something happen and Mbick with some nice touches.  Other than that, it’s hard work.  McNamara is a great acquisition.  Decent little footballer and got some proper fight in him.

I’d make some subs in the second half.  Tough first game for Ouma.  Two soft goals frustratingly

Mbick has held the ball up well but I don’t really understand why he isn’t pressing at all.  Is that by Jones direction?  There have been times where their center backs have slowly dribbled up to the final third of the pitch and he is just slowly walking to the side of the defender.  Ouma started brightly but looked lost as the half progressed.  Asiimwe tries but he is an atrocious defender.  The sooner we ship out apter the better.  Mesic, McNamara, jones, Mbick and Alli all look decent.

Could do with a cheeky centre half loan before deadline day

And I am also worried now about our midfield options. Ouma does not look ready

This is not based on tonight - but wouldn’t be too sad if we shifted Knibbs and Apter out if we could do a bit more wheeling and dealing before Tuesday.
They worked hard with very little reward or in Apter case protection … the ball not being held up so very difficult to build an attack

First XI would’ve given this lot a game.

It is what it is, better beat Preston.
Maybe they would have, but even they are nowhere PL standards.

    Saturday is the big game

CBS presentation have just called us "Championship newcomers" and then followed it up by calling Bradford "League 1 newcomers" - both incorrect

    WTF is going on tonight

There are some fucking weird people on this forum

Like the poster with 9 directed posts towards other posters in this thread and zero about the actual game?

As someone who doesn't watch the premier league I'm shocked at how poor Spurs are. Reckon our first 11 gives them a genuine test.

Can see the point with the initial line up, but having watched the first half, they're giving a decent account. Doc's effort would've obviously changed things

We looked comfortable before 2 really weak goals conceded. This is a free hit game but the injuries are a massive concern.

Idiot commentator we are 2-0 down, we have already rested players deliberately, 2 players injured already,  now saying do we stick or twist....how ambitious are we, well DERRRRRR let me think.

    probably not.
I don’t know if you’ve got the same guy a I have, but Alli, Sichenje and 19 year old Mesik are all making their debuts for Charlton.

The same people moaning are the same people who would have cheered when we got drawn against a big team like Spurs. I honestly don't know what people expect against a side that have spent 100x what we have.

The Ouma criticism is weird, played well other than one misjudged header

Not to play 4D chess but could Spurs’ pitch played a role in Jones’ decision making to pick a weakened team?
