Only thing Jones got wrong tonight was start Koumetio.
How about starting a keeper who was totally out of his depth?
Yeah and if Okonkwo started and got injured then that keeper was starting in the league on Saturday

Small went off 25 minutes after coming on as a sub for Preston. Presume an injury
Scrap that completely misread it, wishful thinking. Bloke who replaced him was subbed off after coming on. Maybe he kicked Thierry when he came off though

Never mind, there is always next year. I would prefer a different sponsor next time.
The pampers cup perhaps, help for those with leaky bits

I can accept us playing a B team and getting done by 300m of talent but the players and staff to not come within 30 metres of the away fans at end has fucked me off beyond belief.

thats a disgraceful reaction to those that have paid and travelled
Now that is something worth getting annoyed over. That's disappointing.

Okonkwo would probably save two, maybe three of those Spurs goals. Not saying he should of played, just saying.

I expect I will be in the minority but think weve approached this one all wrong. Rest some key/injury prone players by all means, but we've made this a totally pointless exercise.
It’s not though. We’ve got minutes into players, who when called upon will be much sharper and fitter for it now.
After one 90 mins? What if they sit on the bench or even out of the squad completely for the next month or so. If I'm Sonny Carey I'm thinking when am I ever going to play at Spurs again. I'll mever understand throwing a game like this
  • Not fussed about the result, but feel for the nearly 6,000 Charlton fans who got tickets to the game, only for us to put out our reserves!

Really pleased for the Sky commentator. Spurs' season back on track. Savio goal on his debut. Spurs players developing nice partnerships. Signs are a lot better now. He's relieved after having to endure that Brentford display. Platitudes to Charlton youth system. Easy night's 'work'.

    Quick question:

Have you heard Savio more in the last 90 minutes or read Holsgrove more in the last 90 days?

Heard it was Savio returning some of your love... Mrs Fen should be worried.

Better not start him against Preston then in case he gets injured hey , modern day football can do one as far as I’m concerned.

Ultimately I reckon NJ knows more about managing his players than us.
  • when will managers give the Caribao cup the respect it deserves...
If Jones cant be bothered with it, just don't bother entering.

Mainly been a DM or box to box CM when I’ve seen him, but it would be one way to ease him into the team.

I think he’s really shown why he’s been on the bench ahead of Doc and deserves to continue being in the matchday squad, getting more minutes.

    It’s over and thank god.

Very sad about the injuries and could not give a fuck about the cup.

NJ did the right thing to use the squad and if nothing else, we know where we need to get rid/add to the squad.

This game proves that some of our squad is not up to it…

    - knibbs
    - apter
    - docherty
    - brooks

    Jury’s out on

    _ Alli
    - asimwe
    - ouma

    impressed with

    - mbick
    - mesik
    - Muamba

Hopefully NJ can do a little more business and ship a few out before the window shuts

If you're not expecting that with NJ as manager... You've learned nothing. League above all else.

Not arsed at all. More bothered about losing Billy! That’s the reason why we didn’t play a stronger side!!

I'd say he's third behind Chalobah and Coventry right now
  • I don’t see why people are so down on brooks he’s our third keeper. Hes not really meant to play. Doubt we will see him again this season
