    We all know Jones is an emotional guy, this isn’t the first time he’s come out with big comments straight after a game. We have no idea if he means JRC is not coming or other transfer business.

    If sichenje and koumetio are out for a long time then wouldn't insurance at least partially cover us and we could get a big bastard loan in or sign a free agent which would still allow us to sign Rak-Sakyi

    Apter can be sold if needed for over a million?
    Asiimwe and Docherty for a million combined ish?

    Surely we can cough up enough money to spend on CBs whilst keeping the cogs moving on JRS

    so we should be pleased? and if we make no progress this season because of it we should be pleased at that too?

    No to Coady for me, we found a way to play him in midfield despite his lack of pace, but we can't go into Championship games with him at CB.

    Maybe it’s because I want this to be true rather than the idea we are/have pulled out of the JRS deal, but Nathan Jones is an emotional man, hopefully he’s just gone a bit over the top with his comments and it can be sorted for JRS and one other in

    If Edwards had been on the bench tonight then I might have been a little more hopeful but all we hear is how close he is, he still has to be eased back.

    For what it's worth, Apter didn't cover himself in glory so if Apter can go, we can sign JRS. It's like for like in that case.

    No one is spending a mill on Apter or assimwe + doc combined. Unless you're talking pennies and not pounds

    Anything concerning JRS is coming from the Palace end .. we not had time from the final whistle to make that decision .. perhaps NJ was told before the game and then the injuries made it a bad night all round ….. think his point about the window is people going out if Burke is injured he can’t go now we lost two defenders might now have to keep players he intended to sell affecting his squad numbers ….lets see what happens … 24 hours ago JRS had signed so who knows …. Clearly frustrating night for NJ .

    L1 or L2 team. Even if we pay half the wages, it could still be a deal for someone.

    I dont think there’s anyone out there paying over a million for Apter considering what he’s done while with us and on loan so far.

    At this point I think if we offered a team a million to take Apter they’d still say no. Looks absolutely lost
