Pretty laughable that we won't sign someone for 3/4/5m because our 3rd/4th choice centre back got injured, Billy is a blow but Collins hasn't really had aook in due to being injured.
If its longer than 6 months then don't include them in the 25 man squad

Thankfully it seems Cawley's pessimistic viewpoint is simply based on Jones' post match comments, and given how he often speaks from the heart and not the head and reacts to things, I doubt this actually scuppers the JRS deal3

If the JRS deal is off then that would have happened well before kick off tonight.
He’s either using the injuries as a reason for it being scuppered , which is ridiculous , or he’s speaking without thinking , which wouldn’t be unusual.1 -

I got a feeling that NJ is talking about another deal and not JRS .. and that one has to be scrapped to bring in a CB .. … there no way from the final whistle to the press interview has Rodwell and NJ had time to sit down to look at options ….Rodwell seemed in good spirits this morning on talksport ….NJ seemed pretty pissed if so maybe he can’t get his target after all Holsgrove deal is pulled
