Wonder if NJ’s frustrations were about Holsgrove deal been panned because we now need a centre back? Hes been after him all summer, if rumours are to be believed. So it would be doubly frustrating to fly him over then we say no.3

We’re not doing that to an injured player and we’re certainly not writing cheques for £300k or whatever’s left on his contract. Wasn’t there all this chat before that Kamara to Pompey wasn’t going to get done because we were offering more money and his agent wanted him to come here?
Look what happened then.
If that’s the reason the JRS deal has slowed, I’d still fancy our chances. At the end of the day the agent works for JRS not the other way around.2 -
