    There is more to this than meets the eye, I lean towards the injuries having a lot to do with it and Jones having said more than he should of and so they have had to try and spin it

    The medical is about assessing the risk. Rak-Sakyi is costing us millions and probably big wages. So we’re going to be much less willing to take a risk on a signing if it’s going to cost us that much 

    Yes Burke was a stupid signing but the financial outlay was a lot less than this Rak-Sakyi deal would be

    I’m hearing lots of rumours this morning. My source from Wales says, JRS is either a 100% done or 100% off. 

    Also, sources tell me that Collins and Billy got injured in a game last night, waiting for confirmation. 

    And Jones may or may not have stormed out of a meeting. Will keep you posted with information as I get it.

    I’d imagine it’s extremely unlikely. The club simply isn’t in a position to risk spending millions on a player when issues arose during the medical. 

    Thank you although you could’ve saved me reading the previous 300 posts on how Palace have pulled the plug, Burnley have outbid us, agents are greedy etc. if you’d added that he’d failed the medical in your previous post!

    Jones starting some of those players last night seemed to be about making a point to the owners re budget IMHO

    Also I appreciate he was protecting some players

    It was telling that some are miles off being top Champ players

    Didn’t we knock back the osei tutu deal due to medical issues and he’s now signed for Millwall? Have we been burnt so much we are being super careful now? No problem with that as long as they do have back up plans.

    Yes there are a couple we want. Both at Premier League clubs and both played in the Championship last season. One more likely than another at this stage. Cannot give any names at this stage 
    Someone fire up transfermarkt and get me a list!!
