He's also Out of Contract next summer, and we seemingly cant get him to agree a new deal (if one has even been offered), which is why he's not going out on loan - We're basically in the same position with him, as Palace are with Rak-Sakyi.fenaddick said:

look just because we have often previously been fooled into expectations of decent signings, only to be badly let down, doesn't mean that on this actual occasion expectation of a decent signing will result in it not happening and us getting badly let down. For all quite a few people on here have spent the past two seasons asking who would want to play for Nathan Jones he's very good at developing players and rounding out their game. Football at the top level is going through a phase where it's become incredibly physical again and the main non-negotiables in a Nathan Jones team are that you are fit, you run for 90+ minutes and you are aggressive and front-footed. I think most players will recognise that playing under a manager who can help you develop the attributes needed to succeed at the highest level is a pretty positive thing, and if you're Forest I can see sending a 21 year old CB prospect off to the man who trains people to be Murder Bastards as a very pleasing idea. Add to that the fact we're playing a bit more football at the moment and it seems like quite a good time to join the partyLeuth said:I do feel like there must be some sort of Big Club algorithm agents and coaching staff have access to that we've imperceptibly soared up over the last few weeks. Yes, this feels accurate. And for all that he tutors Murder Bastards, we actually have a really, really good red card record under Jones, and I wouldn't say we put in particularly dirty tackles, so the Murder is basically Running Murder - we will simply get to the ball before you will. We need a winger, Nelson is a winger, and though he's listed on sites as a left winger he's actually played on the right more. A free agent so no fee to pay and doesn't have to be done by the deadline4

For all that Jones has a reputation for industrial and physical football, can you think of really any properly filthy challenges we've put in under him? I bet he specifies under pain of near death not to go in rashly. Look at what happened to Ramsay after his red vs Millwall, we barely saw him for a month. I doubt we will sign Reiss Nelson but if we do I’d imagine that’s all of the Rak-Sakyi wages being used and then probably some of the fee to top up those wages. Would think he’d be looking for 20k a week at least3
