Well if Bindon IS en route doesn't look like he's made it in time for tomorrow. Possible it was all done in time but the lack of anything from club/Cawley makes me think it isn't quite there yet.
But hopefully we have enough to see us through one weekend.2 -

Is there such a thing as an emergency loan still?0

Very easily. I leave all my day to day worries at the door.SteveACS said:CL is exhausting...
So many OTT reactions to rumours, from JRS to Tyler Bindon.
From creaming your jeans, to bed wetting, back to creaming, back to wrist slitting...
It's not good for your mental, and physical, health...
Look at Kayne Ramsay. From best player at the club, to it being a disaster he's injured, to being that he's not as good as Danny Mac. Then, he's signing a new contract, to he's refused to sign a new contract, and we're going to sell him, to him signing is going to save the club, because he's signed.
How do you all manage to sleep at night?1 -
You mean a bit make when you are selling your house & you change Estate Agents after 6 months on no offers and then the old EA wants their fee when the new EA sells your house 🙂DDOUBLEE said:Someone "over there" suggesting that JRS did in fact change agents, and the old agent is kicking up a stink demanding a fee and that's what the "dispute" is

All depends, might have come down last night, signed and trained with the team in the morning, now doing all the media bits, we announce it at 4pm but he was registered before noonthenewbie said:Well if Bindon IS en route doesn't look like he's made it in time for tomorrow. I saw his debut, but I had completely forgotten that he disappeared after that. Why did that happen?HGAddict said:Signing a centre half on loan reminds me of signing Steve Stacey in the late 60's who scored an equalising header on his only appearance, at the Valley. Does anyone else remember him, the first black player to play for us so a significant moment , still alive, living in Australia and 82 yesterday.0 -
Oh, was it a good header? I'm building another awesome list3

You may jest, but anyone from the executive search sector - a model of probity compared to this lot - wíll confirm that this is a very plausible scenario.golfaddick said:

If the agent story is true, basically Palace have an unsalable asset because the issue would apply to other clubs who are unlikely to cough up an extra (up to £0.5m?) agent cut. Might Parish (ed) cut his losses for a £1m loan fee or do agents get a cut on those?1

RC is always the first to say though that anything can happen in a transfer window.TheHerminator said:

But regardless we pulled the plug when he failed the medical, people seem to be having a blind spot for this.

the north seems a bad choice1 -

Who knows how long ago JRS became a target for transfer? If an ‘enquiry’ was made pre-bid with the old agent, it doesn’t feel a stretch to believe they would claim the transfer started at that point rather than when a formal bid came in (if they had been moved on by that point). You would hope JRS was operating under a contract with clear notice period and termination clauses contained but I have no idea if agents operate in such a professional way?PragueAddick said:

Fascinated to see what happens to JRS after all this - I can’t see how he is at all sellable for Palace7
-
Doesn’t he need to be registered before 17:30 to be available for tomorrow ? I doubt he’d be included other than the bench regardless.thenewbie said:Well if Bindon IS en route doesn't look like he's made it in time for tomorrow. Would imagine someone will get him on the cheap now, if it was a medical issue.DamoNorthStand said:Fascinated to see what happens to JRS after all this - I can’t see how he is at all sellable for Palace2 -
I would say the agent would need to take part in the negotiations to have a right to a claim.Pavoren007 said:

As I understand it, this is why clubs are reluctant to say a player failed a medical, as it is unfair on the players future prospects, instead simply declining to give a reason why, which as we've seen can lead to lots of speculation.DamoNorthStand said:Fascinated to see what happens to JRS after all this - I can’t see how he is at all sellable for Palace6 -
It would not suprise me in the slightest if Tuesday evening comes and he is a CAFC playerDamoNorthStand said:Fascinated to see what happens to JRS after all this - I can’t see how he is at all sellable for Palace1 -
Honestly wouldn't surprise me if we took him on loan with a view to something more permanent if it goes well (ie he doesn't get injured)0
-
Don’t think a loan is in the interest of palace, unless it has an obligation to buy at the end should he stay fit and shows no foreseeable problems, lots of ifs but wherever he goes now clubs will have certain stipulations, think palace will have they’re pants pulled down with this one.EugenesAxe said:Honestly wouldn't surprise me if we took him on loan with a view to something more permanent if it goes well (ie he doesn't get injured)2
