No chance - there is no way you spend the money required for Cleary to have him as a rotation option. Also you have probably £10m of talent on the left and £2m on the right. Too lopsidedPelling1993 said:
If it was Cleary, perhaps Nathan now sees Grant as more of a 10. So we'd have Campbell + Cleary for the LW & Alli + Apter for the RW?CB1 said:Hope it’s De keersmaeker and Cleary. Two very good signings3 -
He’s better than Cov, Doc and JRC.thenewbie said:
Don't see a place for him sadly, as good as he is I'm not sure where he realistically adds given we already need to clear out a few spare midfielders alreadyAberystwythAddick said:De keersmaecker? Now that Mills has gone that’s got to be the flood gates open for Oxford, surely there are players that will be demanding a move
Chalobah is a fitness risk given history and Ouma is an unknown quantity at this stage.BDK has experience in the champ and plays the sort of game that we require especially now. If we have the cash it seems a no brainer0 -
Looking through league 1 wingers and there doesn’t seem to be many standout names. Josh Bowler would fit the left footed right sider and has done well in the championship before. Would also maybe be quite an easy one to send apter back to Blackpool as part of the deal3

Yeah I'm struggling to find anyone that I'd find overly exciting or standout as a signing.NabySarr said:Looking through league 1 wingers and there doesn’t seem to be many standout names. When we signed Apter, I remember Blackpool fans saying that Tom Bloxham was better than him anyway. I think he’s more of a forward thoughNabySarr said:Looking through league 1 wingers and there doesn’t seem to be many standout names. Yep agreed if it isn’t Cleary, unless I’m missing someone obvious but from a quick look at league 1 wingers there isn’t much there. Wouldn’t mind Josh Bowler or Jack Diamond but tbh we might as well stick with Apter if we aren’t looking at a serious upgrade, considering we paid millions for himMarcusH26 said:

My guesses for rw would be
Isiah Jones (Luton)
Harry Leonard (Posh)
Fabio Jalo (Barnsley)
Paddy Lane (Reading)

Jones is a good shout. Would fit wing back quite well which we don’t really have an option for on the right at the momentAberystwythAddick said:My guesses for rw would be

Diamond was the other name that I thought about but his record isn't anything that suggests he'd be a lot more effective than Apter.NabySarr said:

Joe Taylor from Huddersfield? Right footed striker and has played attacking right side - but not a winger.
Scored 3 in 3 this season. 23 so still developing. Just under 6’.0 -
Luton connection as well.Redrobo said:Joe Taylor from Huddersfield? Right footed striker and has played attacking right side - but not a winger.

I really wanted us to sign Joe Taylor after his season at Lincoln. He’s a good strikerRedrobo said:Joe Taylor from Huddersfield? Right footed striker and has played attacking right side - but not a winger.

Joe Taylor is class. No idea how he is still in League OneRedrobo said:Joe Taylor from Huddersfield? Right footed striker and has played attacking right side - but not a winger.

Huddersfield want 5 million quid for him.Pelling1993 said:
