    Junior Nkeng - welcome to SE7! ✅

Olivier Skipp also could be joining
    Seriously underwhelming.
I’m shocked you’re not positive about this to be honest
On this occasion I can understand why to be honest. Maybe look at the post not the poster on this one.🤷🏻‍♂️

Skipp is probably the sort of player that jones would get the best out of. Does he stay fit? Or injury prone?

I’m not sure why we’d consider going for Skipp . We might as well keep Doc

Nkeng looks very powerful for a young winger. In fact his style is a bit like Milli Alli tbh - we've basically got two of him now. I don't hate it

I don't want to be negative but I think Skipp is an absolute waste of space. I trust in NJ but this is pushing me to my limit tbh.

  • Something a QPR fan found on Nkeng when they thought he was going there

Thought I was watching TC for a moment, very similar style of play. Sign him up!

One other aspect I'd hope with Skipp (If he does have an attitude problem) is the fact that relegation from the Championship has hopefully humbled him a little bit... Its hopefully given him a wake up call confirming that it doesn't matter how big a name you are, how big a club you're at... Arrogance is very costly at this level

Oliver Skipp would be an absolutely crazy signing. Wasn't that long ago he was being positioned as Tottenham's first choice holding midfielder and being talked about for England. Then he was a £20m signing for Leicester in the Premier League. Two seasons later he's a L1 player we're seriously looking at. I could see Leicester being willing to let him go for very little or nothing given he's apparently on £50k a week but even if we offer him half that it's a lot to invest on a player on a real downward trajectory. Feels a bit like we've realised JRS is off, gone for a low salary alternative in Nkeng and shifted the money we were willing to throw at Jes into the CM position but it's a real gamble to be giving that to Skipp instead.
If you honestly think Skipp is a good signing, then I wouldn’t suggested looking up “Skipp” on the #LCFC hashtag on X. Their fans despise him, and most of their worries come from not being able to shift him due to his wage demands. None of them seem to rate him as a player either, and think they are a better side without him in the team. It’s hugely underwhelming unfortunately.

If Skipp joins it seems he plays instead of Chalobah or Coventry, a defensive midfielder.
Can't play tomorrow as he's banned. Great start to your new club career 🙄.

Back to back relegations, just like Kaminski.

And DM is not a position we need filling now.
Couldn't play tomorrow even if he wasn't banned as he won't have signed in time to play tomorrow.

The question is whether tomorrow then even counts towards his suspension or if he'd have to serve it at the weekend instead?

We are turning our noses up at Skipp, who played 77 games for Spurs in the Prem when they weren't fighting relegation?
    How things have changed!
    His attitude stinks.

I wouldn’t have wanted any player from that Leicester team it’s rotten from the inside out
Does it though? I haven't heard much about Skipp having a bad attitude. Harry Winks, another Spurs midfielder they picked up certainly got that reputation at Leicester but from what I've seen Skipp is generally seen as being hardworking but technically limited, which sounds fairly Nathan Jonesy

What were Leicester opinions on Yann Kermorgant?
What were Charlton opinions on Simon Francis?

Sorry just fishing to wind up Coventry’s biggest fans 🎣
With NJ pursuing Holsgrove so strongly and now being linked with Skipp, I predict there's not going to be a new contract for Conor.

Looks like he's got a right foot at least.

Expect NJ to say we've been tracking him since he turned 16 & tried to sign him when at Luton.

I couldn't care less about their opinions on him. My opinion on him is he's shit. I don't know how anyone who's seen him play fairly regularly over the last couple of years could have a different opinion.

Does this mean Chalobah is more long term than we’ve been told, not excited by either of these to be honest, which might be a good thing because the last underwhelming signings have done ok.
Even if Chalobah isn't out long term, it puts a lot of pressure on Mwamba (Young / Inexperienced) and Ouma (Inexperienced) whenever he's unfit - Having one final body through the door, given how many have said Doc is past it, would be plain sensible.
BUT  WE  HAVE  TOO  MANY  PLAYERS  ALREADY.

Obviously not but Skipp just looks completely crap and disinterested whenever I've seen him play.
