There’s been some bad things said about Skipp on here today but that takes the biscuit! 😂Sword65pf said:Skipp reminds of Barry Bannan!!!, I’ll leave it there.0 -
Good luck Ibby. I hope you will bring swagger to that rather tinny stadium and continue to progress.
Salford getting Asimwe is phenomenal for them. Smash it Nathan.7 -
Remember that the goal is still 21st in our tricky second season. Replacing Collins with Bindon is probably a better player anyway.Gutted about JRS but it’s clearly not to be. I do trust that this winger from Wimbledon can be a great signing given what we’ve seen the club bring in so far.0

It's almost as if he played in The Championship and people enjoy watching football isn't it. Helmet.gmantaxi said:Love how so many people are experts on Skipp and have no doubt been following his career closely over the past 2 years.0 -

Perceived to be bad at Spurs for one of those years (in addition to two at Leicester), the fee referred to is £20m + a potential £5m in addons, and the fact it's a screenshot from my mates in a WhatsApp group - what were you expecting?Brownie12 said:
Apart from the fact he has been their 2 years and they paid £20m - it’s pretty accuratePaddyP17 said:

The Football Trivia WhatsApp Group has spoken on Skipp...
a dick pic.?3 -
We’re going to have more players out on loan than Arsenal or Chelsea at this rate!

Good move, but not a great one. I was hoping that he'd get a L1 move. But given he seemed to only do alright in L1 last year, that might have been overly ambitious.fenaddick said:
Looked decent against Spurs. I still think there's a player in there, he just may be one, like with Anderson, where his trajectory and ours don't match. Certainly best of luck to him. Go smash it Nathan!5 -
Just pre warning, I’m going to slag Skipp off as much as possible all evening in the hope we sign him and he’s really good, that’s what usually happens👍12

Would give this a like if this was any other club in the EFL. Literally - I think I gave Fullah going MK fuckin Dons a likefenaddick said:1 -

Anyone remember that player from Leicester that their fans hated?mendonca said:The anti-Skipps' are reminding me of the anti-Mcnamaras'.
Just chill and let things be. We have a very intense gaffer that generally takes care of things properly!
Yann something or other?2 -
Absolutely delighted that an insult thrown at me has become a CL in joke. I can't wait to call someone a helmet after they say Terry Taylor is going to be like a new signingProperCharlton said:

I'm just trying to keep up here and I'm not sure that I've got it all rightfenaddick said:
I think we need more outs than that to be able to sign Skipp/another thoughMarcusH26 said:So who else we expecting out? Just Doc now? Doesn't seem to be interest in anyone else
Okonkwo > Kaminski

Kanu and Asiimwe gone but Nkeng doesn't need to be registered, so we're needing another out after Doc to register Skipp essentially?1 -
I’d be more excited if Skipp had taken a shit pen on Saturday2
-
Just because we had money for JRS which sadly didn’t happen it doesn’t mean we have to spend it on another player. If our targets are not available or there’s nobody Jones fancies then it’s far better to hold onto the money to either top up in January or to add to next summers budget. Perhaps the “extra” we now have enabled us to sign Nkeng. I’ve no real knowledge of Skipp but you don’t play 70 odd games for Spurs without having something. I think Jones will get it out of him.7

This is where I had us the other day, I've crossed out those who have goneMarcusH26 said:

GK: Okonkwo (loan), Mannion, Brooks (3)
Defenders: Ramsay, McNamara, Jones, Koumetio, Bindon (loan), Burke, Bell, Sichenje (unregistered), Mesík, Edwards, Asiimwe (10 9)
Midfielders: Chalobah, Coventry, Ouma (loan), Mwamba (U21), JRC, Doc, Knibbs, Fullah (U21), Carey (7)
Attackers: Apter, TC, Leaburn, Godden, Grant, Alli, Kelman, Mbick (U21), Kanu (8 7)
That means we're currently on 26 players. 2 to go before we can bring in anyone over 212 -
The cafc players with new contracts spent money on them higher wages.6

This starts to look rather tricky now. I'm struggling a bit if we don't shift Apter as to how this all pans out to get the numbers right to get Skipp in. Knibbs on loan?fenaddick said:

Good move for him but I don’t understand it as plenty were saying he’s good enough for the Championship …..fenaddick said:0 -
If Doc doesnt leave then I imagine we could pay him off to leave, to get someone else over the line.

He has appeared in our first team before and did not look out of place, so not a mighty leap. Would only be used in a real emergency.soapboxsam said:Covered_End_Lad said:Josh Laq is also comfortable at right back so makes sense to loan out Assiimwe and have Josh not taking up a squad space
... Dorking Wanderers from the National League South to potentially the bench in the Championship and getting on does seem a mighty leap.0 -
Looks like a player wanting his Leicester nightmare to be over as soon as possible, even getting himself sent off.Leuth said:

Just watched this, paying attention to the movements and actions of the Leicester number 22 for both goals and the red card, and now I want our fax machine to explode immediately0 -
Correct. But if we were going to spend such a significant amount of money on a right winger it must suggest that that’s seen as a key area of the side that needs improvement. Bit odd to move from that to signing a youngster from Wimbledon (presumably for our U21’s in the short term) and Oliver Skipp?ShootersHillGuru said:Just because we had money for JRS which sadly didn’t happen it doesn’t mean we have to spend it on another player. Suspect it's going to be Apter and Doc. I want Apter to work because he's a left footed RW which I definitely think we need. But it's hard not to get the impression that he just isn't going to cut it at this stage of his career.fenaddick said:

I don't think there's much interest in Apter though. Hypothetically, who else on that list goes? It has to Knibbs right?SDAddick said:
