Who knows maybe Skipp will be good and we won't really have to worry about the midfield much this year 🤞

Think it was to late for us to do anything with Mbick money , might have been part reason it was turned down as well

What is it that makes people so down on Ouma? I heard on Charlton Live that he was at fault for that horrendous defending in the second goal, which I have to say I hadn't clocked (from the stand, and couldn't face the highlights after). I noticed him a few times in the first half where he won the ball well and played forwards. I was pretty happy with what I saw

Quite shocked that so many on here don’t see the potential of Mbick.
6’ 4” strong, very mobile, hard shot, scores goals:- 1 in 3 last season. Lower league but that is a great strike rate.
    Capped for England U20’s 2025.
    Only 19 yrs old.

He is going to be a top top striker.
    Harder shot than Martin Sandgaard?
He caught the eye jogging down the line.

Bid rejected from Southampton for Mbick, £5m+£2m add ons. From Tash on twitter.
I would bite their hands off & drive him.there myself tonight.

    Bonkers turning that down imo.
You’d have to promise not to speak.

Is that the striker you’ve mentioned we’ve been trying to buy?

    League Two last season:

    Daniel Kanu
    Goals per 90: 0.42
    Assists per 90: 0.06

    Micah Mbick
    Goals per 90: 0.43
    Assists per 90: 0.12

Let's keep in mind that Mbick is two years younger. And he did just as well as DK before his injury, if not better.

I know he hasn’t been great recently but I think it shows how far we’ve come when Skipp was playing champions league football and getting signed for 20m in 2023/2024 and we were shocking in league one . I doubt anyone envisioned us signing him 3 years later and being top of the championship.

Or just don't register a few and send them to Scotland for peanuts next week to get them out of the training ground.
Harsh but fair if they won't go of their own accord.

Tend to agree it looks like Doc could be off to Scotland.

I think we have nice options for the two deeper midfielders now …. And means we can get the best of or Chalobah (play him 10-15 hand selected games a year), Mwamba (not have to overload him) and Ouma isn’t the messiah and is now a low risk cheap loan.

Ironically I could see Mwamba playing in the 10 role in tougher away games when he may need to drop back alongside the deeper two at times
Yes, Mwamba will be our attacking midfielder. Just do not call it the "10".

You don’t reject £7m for Mbick and then sign someone to play instead of him

How many more do we need to move on this window now so that we don't have too many for the squad? I've lost count.

We could triple that price at the end of the season. The lad will be a premier league striker in a couple of seasons IMHO
Oh good. He can join up Leaburn again as he was deemed Premier League quality 2 years ago.

Do you ever wake up and think "You know what, I'm not going to be such a fucking moaner today!" Or has that never happened?
He lives for days like this, especially when things don’t go to plan, he loves it, he’s posting every 5mins.

And played up front on his own where he showed the ability to hold up and link up play.

Tend to agree but was running out of ideas. Striker seems the only area we are short.

    Surely not JRS……

I'm surprised Leaburn never got sold after his first season looking back.

He got 12 goals in League One at Mbick's age
