Well, this has definitely been worth getting up at 5 am for!
Dodgy pen, two bad deflections, and new centre back paring losing each others signal and parting like the Red Sea. Tough to sit and watch, but feels like one of those days. Hope they get it all out of their system today and move onto the next one.

They're the sort of challenges where players get injured. Remember sweaty balmer getting done badly like that. Obvious yellow but zero consistency from refs yet again2

Don't get me wrong we've been dog shit and completely lost our heads. But I've never seen a clearer example of a ref that's been paid off ever before. Just every decision has gone their way. If we were committing fouls like they are we would have had 9 yellows and a couple reds by now.2

This was always going to be a tough game but changing your entire midfield is always an absolutely insane thing to do for anything other than a cup match against lower league opposition. A debut, a full league debut and the first time the other has ever started in the 10 for us. Madness4

Silly to change all 3 today I think.
