    Knebworth is a piss take
And people winge about the price of glastonbury!
  • Well over £20m in ticket revenue just from one Knebworth show.

You couldn't pay me to go back to Knebworth.

Hopefully we get tickets for one of the European shows that we've asked for.

How many tickets can you buy in one go?  has there been any mention of that?

EDIT >> max of 4 tickets to one unique code.

If I get sent a valid link to purchase Oasis tickets and do not purchase, is there a possibility that I will receive further links?

No, there is no possibility that you will receive further links or codes if you choose not to use the official purchase link sent to you. [1]

For the Oasis Live '27 tour, the ticketing system relies on an exclusive invitation ballot. If you are selected, you are emailed one unique access code and a single dedicated link tied directly to your registered email address. [1, 2]
  • I saw them in the afternoon on the 2nd stage at Glastonbury in 94, then twice more at the festival, Earls Court in 95 for what's the story, Loch Lomond in 96, Finsbury Park in 2002 was my last gig.

Loved every minute of it. Saw the new film on Friday night and welled up at times with the nostalgia of it all.

But I just cant bring myself to pay £200 to see anyone ever. Its bloody ridiculous. Good luck to them and anyone that wants to go but drop me out

    Manchester
    Amsterdam
    Slane

are my choices, although slane is as much of a nightmare as knebworth I personally prefer stadiums and seats. Done Wembley and croke park last time.
  • Europe & America aren’t really options for me, so Etihad, Glasgow & Knebworth are my picks - fingers crossed!

If this thread is anything to go by there should be plenty of Knebworth left

We were looking to maybe do a week in Boston next year but in the autumn unfortunately.
  • Have seen them at the Etihad and Knebworth, the latter massively overrated and the walk to Stevenage station after is painful

Im at an age now where I want less percentage of nobheads around me and Manchester will definitely have the highest percentage by a mile

The reason I went to Canada last time and want to go abroad this time as well. The dickhead count was so much lower in Toronto. No cups of piss being thrown around or cnuts walking around in parkas with a dickhead swagger. So much more enjoyable.

I brought this up before, I've lost count of the number of times I've seen Oasis and have done plenty of festivals and gigs full stop. The piss throwing started at Finsbury Park 2002 and worked its way to shows of other bands but it was Oasis gigs it began at an industrial scale at I'm willing to stake some money on that.

All that said, Wembley last year was a great crowd. Like we were all 15 years older and had decided wearing a piss jacket was unacceptable.

Given the resource I'd love to see them somewhere like Buenos Aires,  Montevido or Santiago those crowds look absolutely electric

Could have saved yourself a lot of money as didn’t have that at Wembley last year

They make a lot of money because people are willing to pay it.
    One of life’s mysteries.

    Nor were there at Wembley.
The older/traditional fans were smaller in number and there was no "loutish" behaviour that I saw.

Not as much as a mystery as the price of vegan food. But there's always some mug who'll buy it!

You could say that about anything with a high price which you’re not interested in. When people are interested in something, they’re willing to pay a lot of money to enjoy that experience. It’s no mystery.

    Probably not.
People do like to gather together for a singalong experience.
    It happens at football.

Have listed Manchester as my first choice.

Did Knebworth for Liam Gallagher a few years ago, and whilst it was a great day - sitting on a coach that didn’t even get out of the car park until about 3am wasn’t enjoyable.

I went to the first night in Cardiff last year, which was the first reunion show. Was very, very lucky to have seen a moment that will go down in British music history. Will hopefully see them again, but if it’s not to be, then that night alone I’ll die happy knowing I was there for it.

Driving this one off a cliff a bit.

I wonder at which point for these "superg group" come back / last ever tours, they only sell 12 tickets

Is two summers’ worth of shows driving it off a cliff? When they haven’t toured at all for the previous 16 years?

Personally think anyone who didnt get a ticket last time should get a priority code but wouldnt ever happen.
I can't help thinking that sending priority codes to more than 8 billion people would be problematic
