You get the sense they want a result here
We want a result as well: a Derby win or a draw.

I can’t sit here watching the stream hoping to see the sign saying end of play, what time have they got until, anyone know?
I think they can play until 7pm.
But I think they have to be on the pitch by 6.30pm
I think that it might be 5.30pm and 6.00pm respectively

With the covers coming off and stumps going back in, I was worried that my Apple Weather app might be wrong, but it is still showing rain for the next hour in Northampton. 🤞

Now, if the teams do have to be out there by 5.30pm then the covers have to come off in the next couple of minutes

Looking at that screenshot, Northants had scored 11 off the first 4 balls of the current over (incl a wide).
The rain / bad light came just in time!

So, just to be clear, Kent are now 4 points ahead of Northants and will get promoted should they beat Gloucs and take 4 bonus points in total.

    Woohoo !!!!!! And breathe.....

5 days rest for us now before we go again next Thursday, so make the most of them, lads & lasses. Thinking we'll need to be in top form next week for that final push.

Middx in the One Day Cup Final on Sunday so hoping they're on a high for their return to Lords for a successful end to their season.

Have a great weekend & fingers crossed for 3 pts in Welsh Wales. :)
