Relegation to The Northern League, even that would be lenient for the cheating self opinionated gits...0

These are all good points, but probably was better for your mental health that Spurs didn't have another 750 million quid to waste on over-priced flops.JohnBoyUK said:Spurs missed out on CL qualification to City 5 times between 10/11 and 14/15.
How much do they estimate the CL to be every season to teams? £150m?
So thats £750m Spurs have missed out on as a rough estimate.
What other clubs missed out on Europa League further down the table?
What clubs were relegated by points taken off of them by Man City. Thats a minimum £150m just for being in the PL, if not more.
Everton & Forest lost points due to FFP.
That a huge can of litigation worms just opened up.
I tell you what, £750m + compounded interest, we'll take Haaland and £1bn cash and I'll think about forgiving them.
Oh and Ryan Mason wants his League Cup trophy haha21 -

The PL have already changed their financial rules to deter it from happening again. It's the exact reason PIF can't go out and spend whatever they like at Newcastle.IdleHans said:Was listening to 5live on the way back from the vets. The number of tossers pitying City fans was ridiculous and bizarre, though a fair proportion were City fans, so only to be expected. Gist was "It's tainted our experience of winning, wahh wahh wahh".Fuck the fuck off, your club's cheating deprived a number of other clubs' fans of even having that experience, so don't bleat about it now. I worked with a city fan during their winning period and he was full of it. Aside from that he was ok, but didn't give a stuff about their wrongdoing as long as they won something. The Premier League can't right the wrongs of the past but they can set a bloody good example to deter other ruinous owners from adopting the same approach. A huge fine, to be shared across all the divisions, and demotion to the bottom step of the league, and work your way back from there. Tossers.1 -
I think this is putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.usetobunkin said:Little wonder Fraudiola jumped ship.
Guardiola informed the City chairman in the summer of 2025 that the 25-26 season would be his last. City started talking to Maresca late in 2025. One of the reasons he resigned from Chelsea was so he'd be free to take over at City.
So this was all way before anyone knew what the outcome of this case would be.6 -
Presumably if they get demoted, three teams will go up from our division automatically, and you can get into the play offs by finishing ninth.1
-
You just know they won’t get any meaningful punishment. A fine they’ll be able to pay with what they find behind the sofa and a small points deduction, probably suspended.3

Oasis touring and city in league 2.The 90's are back.30

Our friend Mr Farnell managing to get in on 5 live as an expert for this City stuff! BBC obviously not done their research.

Apparently the one charge they got off on was overcrowding.6

If i was to guess i'd say they'll get:DaveMehmet said:You just know they won’t get any meaningful punishment. A fine they’ll be able to pay with what they find behind the sofa and a small points deduction, probably suspended.
Huge fine
1-2 year transfer ban
Points deduction
I'd assume some punishments can't be attributed to certain charges, for example i doubt the PL can/will deduct points from them for the 'failing to cooperate' charges, but obviously they can (and there are precedents) for the PSR charges.2 -
Surely the only fair way to replace them in the Premier League is to promote whichever club is currently managed by the last Southampton manager to beat Man City in any competition? Whoever that may, coincidentally, happen to be...jose said:Presumably if they get demoted, three teams will go up from our division automatically, and you can get into the play offs by finishing ninth.7 -
Does this mean that Southampton can no longer call themselves the most heavily punished club ever?4

Thanks. I’ve been in touch with senior BBC contact about this who has now alerted them. He’s on a day off today otherwise this would not have happened - he lived our ESI / Sandgaard era.bromdog said:

Most of the compensation claims will be time barred as over 6 years old unless a claim has already been registered. I know Liverpool have a £100m claim which they lodged years ago so it would not be time barred.JohnBoyUK said:Spurs missed out on CL qualification to City 5 times between 10/11 and 14/15.

Points deductions and a fine most likely. I suspect it will end in some sort of pathetic plea.0 -
How the fuck have they quoted that crook Farnell.........same here in the USA when BBC America interviews someone who is a MAGA dumbfuck and they cut it short......do they not do their D&D FFS2
-
Chelsea's punishment has been brought up and it is being thought that this will be taken into consideration when it comes to City being clobbered.A view is that a relegation will not be an outcome.0

I want to see them go down to League Two. And go from Guardiola to Marasca to Steve Evans.14

It’s the scale of consequences that their
cheating resulted in that’s bewildering. Every game in England and Europe over that period. With knock on after knock on effect.I mean do WE have a claim ? Indirectly did their behaviour affect us? Did their Inflated spending lift the tide of spending in the entire football pyramid ? And cause our and every struggling club’s financial problems ?1 -
Will never forgive them for letting the stripey twats win an FA Cup. Should have been burned to the ground for that alone.
They’re guilty. Throw the book at them and send them to league two.17 -
Hopefully a couple of charges relate to them being so fucking rich and still finding absolute dross in their reserves and youth to send us on loanKiwiValley said:It’s the scale of consequences that their

I'll be honest with the money floating around in the Premier league and the gross amount spent every summer I really don't care anymore as it seems a whole different world far from reality.
That said there should be a relegation and large fine. Stripping of titles is a bit redundant at this point4 -
Completely different though.ElfsborgAddick said:Chelsea's punishment has been brought up and it is being thought that this will be taken into consideration when it comes to City being clobbered.A view is that a relegation will not be an outcome.
Chelsea self-reported the offences that were committed under a previous owner. They might never have been known otherwise and because of this they were given a lenient punishment. City have spent years denying they did anything wrong and the same owners are still there.10 -
On the upside for any newer Man City fans, the older ones will no longer be able to hold it over them that they stuck with "Citeh" when they were shite and in the Championship/League One (Divisions 1/2)0

If everyone is getting legal with Man City, can’t we sue them over the horrific loan spells of Fiorini and Tedic ?
2 -
Probably get plenty of lols for this but I am certain they will get fined and relegated (either expulsion or such a huge points deduction it becomes redundant).
It's not just the rule breaking but the fact they have fought their corner and burnt £'ms of PL money on lawyers.1
