He is a phenomenon and surely if he were ever put up for sale, he would be the most highly priced player ever.
    Possibly £150,000,000+ I’d say.
May I add, his link up play is also superb…..so not just a prolific goal scorer but a great all round footballer into the bargain.
He would be 200 plus with any decent amount of time on his contract... Bloke is a goal machine
He's got nearly 8 years to run on it, and his estimated weekly earnings after bonuses etc is about 800k a week.

If that's true to buy him out of his contract alone is over £300m, so he's "worth" more than that to City, putting his current value closer to the £500m mark
His valuation might be a lot different though if City end up relegated and he wants out. I wonder if City players have any kind of release clause tied into the outcome of the case?

Plus whilst their owners could afford it, would they even be able to pay him 800k a week in the Championship under EFL spending rules?
  • What am I reading 🤣

Hes only in the team that’s succeeding cos he’s the best at scoring goals ffs.

Apart from Kane he’s the best CF in the world.
Imagine how many he'll get next season in the Championship with City next season.

And subbed off at half time
  • Would've likely been fondly remembered as one of the greatest strikers ever. Chose the blood money though so hope he enjoys his time in the Championship next season.
Chose the team his dad played for. Haaland will earn ridiculous money anywhere.

Doubt he'll go to Madrid because they already have Mbappe in his position. I'd say Barcelona would be most likely and if they can't afford him, probably PSG.

Only as good as the team he plays in.

Otherwise Norway would have won the World Cup.
You can get away with a ridiculous comment like that on Not football 606 but not on here, Look at his record in Germany,

Also it could  be argued that if City actually played to his strengths rather than their, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass...... he could have scored way more.

Can't see what is ridiculous. I have to conclude that your remark is personal rather than anything to do with the topic.

Haaland may be a 'better' forward than any Englishman, but England knocked Norway out of the World Cup.
So his individual greatness counted for nought when the final whistle blew.

It will be interesting to see where Erling ends up if Manchester City are expelled from the Premier League.
But I doubt that will happen. I think it much more likely they will receive a very lenient punishment.

Apologies though if my mentioning that Haaland (like any player) is not bigger than the team he happens to be playing for is viewed as off-topic.

I wouldn't want Haaland at Charlton having been educated by some of the comments above.
Work rate not the best and he's not good enough to beat an 11 man team single handed.

If Haaland wanted to sign for Charlton I'd say oi Haaland no!

I'd take him on a three month loan to see how it goes.
20k a week so we do not break the bank on a possible waste of money.
  • 65 in 57 for Norway now.

2 international goals behind Mbappe who has played 50 more games.

Is Ronaldo poor because his Portugal team didn't win a world cup ?
    Cruyff ?
    George Best ?
    Platini ?
    Puskas ?
    Maldini ?

A player is not 'only as good as the team he plays in

    it was a nonsense statement

Yeah but Stockley would get goals with the right service.

I couldn’t have put it better myself. Was a nonsense statement and one that made no sense for the reason stated by mister one lung. Haaland is a top goalscorer full stop.

Kane, Mbappe and Haaland all didn't win the World Cup but Ferran Torres did, and scored the winner in the final,no that means he's the best striker in the world, right?!
