    Bilic took the job at the worst possible time . Croatia are an aging side and are a shadow of the team that beat us in the semi final .

    Great performance,at last ,that awful night at Wembley under wanker Mclaren is avenged.Also so glad to see Bilic take a hammering,after his feigned head butt to get Blanc sent off in a European Cup game many years ago.I know it was a long time ago but a fine player was denied his right to play in a final.

    Ronaldo has scored 146 goals for his country even if he has made it all about him.
    Harry Kane could well get near 130 if no one else rises to the task in the next few years, unbelievable when Bobby Charlton's record of 49 lasted for so long.

    England were impressive. I notice they are trying to play through the lines much more now rather than passing backwards all the time. We even competed well against Spain.

    Fantastic performance and also the last 3 games. Makes the semi final surrender seem outrageous. Hopefully they have turned a corner and will keep moving forward. I know it’s obvious but if we can sort the defence out we will be some team
