Look there are some mitigating circumstances in that our squad is pretty crap too. But Jones isn’t doing himself any favours right now either.

This 3-4-3 isn’t getting the best out of TC and that’s the only way we’re going to win games at this moment in time.
    He built the squad.
We spent a bit over a million this summer on a squad that stayed up on the penultimate day of the season. No one should be shocked that we’ve run into bad form again so quick.
He didnt address any of the glaring issues and that's a problem for him or anyone else who comes in. I'm sure that was a budgetary decision, but that midfield is a huge issue.

Got shafted in the summer, we so needed a right sided player, whether that’s a wing back or winger. Without it how can he set this team up?

We just need to stay up and he’s by far the best chance we’ve got of doing that
We have one in Nkeng but he doesn't even put him on the bench!

The money was there, the rumoured amount that they were willing to spend on JRS shows that.

They completely failed in recruitment since we’ve been back in the champ

The arrogance of the man means we cant change. He would rather be sacked than proved wrong. I hope I am wrong and NJ is the true football messiah but I doubt I am as per usural.
I mean he's tried to change it quite a lot this season. We've played about 5 different formations and all sorts of combinations of players. He's very willing to try new things

Another manager will get different results either for better or worse. That’s just how football works.

The question is whether the gamble at this stage is worth it. I’m leaning toward the it would be camp

You can’t change the squad till next year, whatcha gonna do?
You can play different players with different tactics.

Pretty sure a decent manager would have set up today to attack & actually test the goalkeeper.

Watford's first clean sheet. Let in 9 goals over the last 2 games. We went there as if they were Real Madrid.

I'm not yet In the Jones Out camp because better the devil you know & be careful what you wish for still haunt me after getting rid of Jacko et al.

    But it wont be long.

I have a feeling that money was only available for JRS because Gavin Carter thought it would get the fans on side. If it was available for any other player it would have been spent once the JRS deal fell through

It was very clear that he wanted too. He wanted Rak-Sakyi and Holsgrove, but ended up with Alli, Nkeng, Skipp, Ouma and Chalobah

Not saying Jones tactics or management are helping, but who seriously thinks anyone is going to really do any better with what we have?
Be hard pushed for anyone to do any worse as well

Based on what? We could be bottom of the table with no wins and -12 goal difference.

Again not defending Jones but we have to face up to the reality that our squad, for this level, is so so poor.

Thats what the budget we have has given us.

I honestly don’t see anyone coming in and being able to change that.

Doesn't help that he put the majority of our budget into even more defenders, which was our strength last season.

Yes because we were able to be so reliant on Left sided Defenders last season... All we've done in Defence is replace Gillesphey with Koumieto / McNamara in to replace Clarke, and gotten Mesik in to support Bell / Edwards which was clearly one of our biggest weaknesses last season, and was one of the most important areas we needed to focus on

To replace Sichenje / Burke... Each player we've brought in defensively has been as cover, or to replace someone
Rather than just doing it for shits and giggles

I’m not defending him, I wouldn’t care if they sacked him tonight.

But I’ve also got the ability to look past the person and realise that our issues are far deeper than him.

Shame others just seem to kid themselves that everything would all of a sudden be different/better.

Exactly. Remove Jones and we still won’t have a midfield capable of progressing the ball, and we still won’t have anyone of the right hand side that’s any good. The manager isn’t the problem here

This is the first time I have been on the Jones out club.

If we keep him, we are going down.

The worst a new manager can do is take us down, so it is a zero risk appointment.

    His recruitment is awful.

We have managed to assemble two Lesgue One squads in the two seasons in the Championship.

We got away with it last season. Ain’t gonna happen again

It’s blatantly obvious that Jones wanted to address both of those problems this summer, but he wasn’t backed to do it

Seeing a lot of Jones out. Who do people think we can attract that’s a better manager than Jones? Only suggestion I’ve seen is Scott Parker which is laughable

We are not an attractive proposition, we have one of the worst squads and lowest budgets in the league. Do you really think there’s any managers out there that would be better and actually want to join?

I thought the rumour was that Jones was being backed by the board. Unfortunately, first Galbraith and then Holsgrove allegedly turned us down because Jones’s style of football wouldn’t have suited them. If that’s true, it tells you everything about the problem we have. We desperately need creative players who can get us playing progressive football, yet we’re potentially putting them off before they’ve even walked through the door. What’s the point of backing a manager in the transfer market if his style of play is making the very players we need think twice about joining us?
